Now Fox and his wingmen return in their own Nintendo Switch 2 game. This game is called Star Fox. And now I'll pass it over to Koisuman. It's just Star Fox. Okay, everyone. I'm Yoshiaki Koisumi. Oh bro, from here on I'll be your host for this presentation. Fox is based on the Nintendo 64 game Star Fox 64, but the visuals have been completely updated. Your tail. Cover me while I finetune my sensors. Oh, you got him. This is the way I imagined it whenever I was a kid. We need your help, Star Fox. Oh my god. Hey there, General. You seem a little on edge, but as an actual game. Yeah, imagine that. This is Fox Mloud, leader of the Star Fox mercenary squad. Prep the Rwings. We've got a job to do, Star Fox. We're going to take the system back from Andros. I'm going to play this one one planet at a time. I'm going to play the Fal Lombardi is their ace pilot and Fox's rivals. Yeah, sounds perfect. There's no way Andros would expect us to launch an assault there. You up for another challenge, Fox? Man, scans are showing unidentified energy emanating from within is the team's engineer extraordinaire. Incredible. Do you realize how rare it is to experience a stable warp channel? Did you see the distortions? That base is the gateway to the wider system, Fox. And Peppy Hair is their strategic mastermind and veteran pilot. Dance into enemy space. He was a pilot with Fox's father. Hit him quick and hit him hard. He's the old man. The fate of the Lilacat system rests squarely on their shoulders. I remember this real well. So good. The Rwing is a high-performance aerospace fighter pilot Fox and his crew. It's equipped with a laser. It can also fire charged shots. And the bombs, too. Or launch bombs that cover a wide area. The Rwing can break. So, does that mean you're going to have the tank, too? Use the boost to get through barrel roll to repel enemy fire. Do a what? An even somersault. Oh, that's a tank. An agile ground assault vehicle called the Landmaster. I always like playing a tank more. And exploratory submersible called the Blue Marine can also be piloted depending on the mission. Holy [ __ ] Impressive work, Star. The campaign will take you to diverse planets as you seek out the enemy's stronghold to restore peace in the Lilac system. Got to [ __ ] some [ __ ] up. Corneria is a planet teeming with life and the beating heart of the system. Facina is a frozen planet. I don't remember this at all. Surface covered in ice and snow. Get your own target, Fox. I remember this a little bit. The lilac systems scorching hot second star. Yeah. Damn. And Zones is a deserted polluted ocean planet. I don't remember this either. Of all its natural resources. No, maybe a little bit. I do. There's also an asteroid field to navigate. Persistent laser tech. And the inside of a nebula from planet surfaces to outer space. A variety of stages await. With freeflying dog fights in all range mode. Don't let Oh, this is where he fought Wolf, I think. And massive boss battles, you can look forward to intense aerial combat. This looks This honestly looks really good. All units, disengage. Depending on the objectives you complete, the number of enemies shot down, and other factors, the route you take through the system may change. Mission accomplished was whenever you unlock the hard mode. Replay stages with a different approach to find ways through that are off the beaten path. Yep. You'd better be right about this, Falco. I say we trust Falco's instincts. Damn, you worry about your own. Plenty of new cutscenes have also been added. All right. These include never-before-seen mission briefings between stages, allowing you to learn more about the characters and the Star Fox universe. Fall in team, how are we doing? You can choose between easy normal and expert difficulty settings. Oh [ __ ] When playing on easy difficulty, your shield gauge will be longer and your lasers will remain powered up, making it ideal for novice pilots. If you're a big idiot, challenge mode. In challenge mode, you can replay stages you've already cleared. Uh-huh. Complete a variety of objectives that bring new challenges to have a field day with this you won't find in the campaign. Defend the allied fleet. Okay. Break through. We'll find out who's the lone red Shogun trooper. Take on these challenges on either normal or expert defense. Battle mode puts you in four versus four dog fights. Players are split between team Star Fox and Team Star Wolf, then compete to earn the most points by clearing missions and taking down foes. You can three stages, each with its own. Yo, what the [ __ ] This is awesome. Take out opponents and seize control of the zone around the satellite towers on Star Fox completed the objective. Collect as many energy crystals as you can while dodging meteorites on. So they have like different modes and [ __ ] for it, too. God damn. Or retrieve cargo from space pirates. The first person in chat that said this, I thought they were memeing. I was about to ban them. Starbucks completed the object. I was like, "Bro, shut up." You can create private matches with your friends online or match up with random players from around the world, making for a variety of ways to join team battles. This is crazy. Plus, if one person has the game, up to four players can take to the skies locally with Game Share. That's awesome. or online using GameS Share via Game Chat. Wow, that that's really cool. By holding your Joy-Con 2 controller like a mouse, you can seamlessly swap to mouse controlled targeting for intuitive aiming and steering. Flippy, stay in form. Oh my god, I'm going to be going like this. Now you've done it, Slippy. Bogey on your tail. Oh, dude. By sharing one of the Joy-Con 2 controllers with a second player, you can split pilot and gunner duties in co-op. We're entering Corneria City now. Handra sure has trashed the place. I'll target the lights on the left. You guys go right. I wonder what Andros is going to look like. It's a trap. Take him down. Don't crawl back under your parm of lowly flies. The same big head. Yeah, we're approaching Venom Airspace. [ __ ] What did you think, man? As you just saw, Fox and Company have a more animallike design in this game. Man, I think the design is good. Like if I go back and I think about Nintendo Switch 2 system Star Fox launches June 25th. That's in a [ __ ] month. Damn. By the way, this game also supports character avatars which let you change your face in game chat to look like a character. Like this. God damn. The switch. I got it ready. Oh my god, bro. You can It doesn't just capture your head movement. You can be a Star Tuber. Oh my [ __ ] Everybody gets their own persona. Blinks. And your eyebrow movement as well. if you have a compatible USB camera, please give it a try. Oh no. When using character avatars to look like a Star Fox character, friends playing other games can also see your new look. But this game also supports the Nintendo 64 controller. Oh my. Those who played the Nintendo 64 version can enjoy controls that feel even closer to the original. Wow. Since its debut on the Super Nintendo Entertainment, that's the one I played. The Star Fox series has had a long legacy on Nintendo platforms. Not long enough. Along that journey and set out for adventure. That's the last one I played. Mhm. But if they're willing like if they're going to revamp and like bring the series back then I think it does kind of make sense that like you'd probably have to like you know redo the story. But like hopefully if this goes well they make another one because this is really really cool. This is 100% better. Well, what I'm assuming they're going to do is they're probably going to have harder difficulties and probably extra stages cuz that's what they did with like adding Star Fox 2, remember? Like whenever they made like the Super Nintendo, the like really small one. So, like I would expect that they probably have more stuff planned for this if it goes well like DLC or something else. Look at the the comments. Some aren't liking the designs already. I don't know about that. I mean, like, let me let me refresh it and and see what people are saying. Like I thought it was really really good. Yeah. Got them looking a cover of S and the S Game. Yeah, exactly, bro. Like I mean that that's that's the way that's that's what I think that they would look like, right? I mean like let me see. Is there like an image of like all four of them there? Like I mean this is this is like in in my mind whenever I was a little kid like this is 100% what I remember. like this like there's no character inside of this that like whenever you upscale it to to this model like this is what I imagined Fox is a little husky. He's I can see why you say that. I I can I can see why you say that. It's not big but like yeah sure it's random Wednesday and we now have an update release date for a Star Fox game. Wow. Can't believe Mario 65 got shadow dropped at the end there. Yeah, really funny. Um, we're shadowdropping Nintendo Directs now. Like, what the [ __ ] is this, man? I like how no one knew this was gonna happen. Yeah, this just came out of [ __ ] nowhere. Like, I didn't expect this at all. Like, okay, so now, all right, now that we're getting Star Fox, the next step is F-0. Okay, F-Zero. And the final one is a spiritual successor to Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Okay, we we are we are moving in the right direction. Now we will begin cuz I This will probably be the first game that I play on my Switch like when it's out, man. Like that's it. This is [ __ ] awesome, man. Is this a rare modern-day Nintendo win? Yeah, I think it is. I think this is really cool, man. This is awesome. I love it. I'm super [ __ ] excited, man. This is great. I I don't really have anything else really to say. No one even knew this was happening. Seems like the true graphical sociate. Yeah. And also, this is another thing, too, is that like the graphics for this, I mean, these are good. Like, it's it's the perfect mix between like this is what Nintendo I feel like should focus on, right? creating very well stylized because like if you really zoom in on these characters, they're not incredibly detailed, right? Like if you look at like Falco, like they're not incredibly detailed, but like the the direction of this like the art direction of this and the style of it is so strong that it doesn't even matter. It's perfect. It doesn't doesn't make a difference at all. So more realism would ruin it. Exactly. So they they have like the perfect mix of it being like realistic while at the same time it has like a cartoony feel to where you're not trying to compare it to real life. And yeah, this is really really good. This is so much better than what Nintendo shared in another Mario game. It is like I do feel like the graphics for this like cuz am I the only person that's felt like the Nintendo has fallen behind too much in graphics? Like just too much. It's like it it it's too it's too retrograde. It it it's too uh you know like outdated. Like I just I don't know like whenever it's like worse than like a PS4. Like it's just weird, right? I mean like Nintendo like Nintendo 64 was like it was they they the name of the console was was the fact that it's graphics, right? I mean like [ __ ] It was a 64-bit system. It was the first one there was. So like now they're doing this. I I I'm very very happy. I am. This is great, man. And uh the amount of furballs cosplaying as Fox is going to be wild. Good. It's a lot better than them cosplaying as their own little personas. You know what I mean? So uh I'm glad about that. That's totally [ __ ] fine. This is awesome. And you can see by the way Star Fox I even watched half like recently I've even watched halfway through a playthrough of this game. Like I love this game. I I I do. And so like I felt nostalgic one day and I watched halfway through it. and so based. Yeah. So, I'm I'm I'm super super hyped up for for this. I I'm I'm very very happy. The game holds up well. Yeah, it does. This was kind of It was recent, too. And uh so yeah, there you go. Only half. What is an hourong video, right? It's cuz consoles are tiny handhelds, I guess, right? But I'm just giving you my feedback. Like, I mean, that's just still the way I feel about it. It's the way I think about it, right? But um yeah. Anyway, uh that was really cool.
