Introduces Vitali and notes his return to chasing predators after prior legal trouble.
Asmongold reviews the Vitali catch-a-predator controversy, questioning the ethics, accuracy, and platform consequences of live stings and clout-driven content.
Summary
Asmongold analyzes the fallout from Vitali’s recent catch-a-predator livestream, highlighting how fast reputations can be overturned by mistaken accusations. He notes Vitali’s history—jail in the Philippines and a return to “catching pedophiles” online—and questions the motives behind some sting videos, suggesting content, not conviction, may be the primary goal for some creators. The discussion moves to a chaotic live-recorded sting where multiple participants miscommunicate, and a 16-year-old’s safety is put at risk by fast-paced, real-time broadcasting. Asmongold emphasizes the risks of mistakes in live investigations, including wrongful accusations and potential legal trouble for platforms hosting the content. He praises the eventual removal of the offending video and Vitali’s Twitch/Kick ban, arguing that punishment should reflect the gravity of the misstep. The streamer also critiques the broader ecosystem, calling out performative ethics and clout-chasing rather than genuine child-protection advocacy. Throughout, he contrasts responsible, police-led action with the unpredictable, sometimes reckless behavior seen in live internet stings. The takeaway is a call for更 careful ethics, accountability from platforms, and a healthier balance between exposing harm and protecting the innocent. Finally, he suggests the industry needs systemic change to discourage content-driven risky behavior while still pursuing real accountability for predators.
Key Takeaways
- Vitali’s return to public sting activity triggered accusations and a heated debate about motives, with concerns that some creators prioritize content over convictions.
- The live, error-prone nature of online sting operations can lead to wrongful accusations and harm to innocent people, underscoring the need for caution and due process.
- Vitality’s apology and removal of the video, plus his ban on Twitch/Kick, illustrate that platforms are willing to enforce penalties when investigations reveal major missteps.
- The discussion frames the issue as an incentive problem in content ecosystems, where clout and monetization can encourage risky, unethical behavior.
- There is a call for platform accountability and better editorial standards to prevent public shaming and potential lawsuits stemming from mistaken identifications.
- The broader takeaway is that true child-protection work requires collaboration with authorities and rigorous verification, not sensational live broadcasts.

Basically, uh, Vitali, he is the guy. It's crazy that he's back out. Like, this is the same guy that got put in jail in the Philippines, and he said, "Wait a minute, that's not bad enough. I can do something even more [ __ ] than this." And so, what he's doing now is that he's going out trying to catch pedophiles again. This is something that it's one of those things where I mean I'm going to be honest like I think that a lot of the pedto catching stuff is like I support it in a way but I think that a lot of people do like I support the idea of it but I think that it also needs to be known and it should be acknowledged that a lot of the people that are doing this are not doing it in good faith.
They're not trying to actually reduce the net amount of harm in the world. They're trying to make content for themselves. And when your goal is making content and not convictions, well, you're probably not going to make as many convictions. And these people also are not really police. And the problem with that is that sometimes mistakes happen. So, issues apology after a pedophile sting gone wrong where they repeatedly accused the wrong man of being a pedophile. Take a look at this. She never told me she was 16. All she did. Where's the Bluetooth speaker, honey? Wait, wait, wait.
Where's the Bluetooth? Where's the Bluetooth speaker, honey? Honey, added me on Snapchat. Honey, you added me on Honey Bomb. Bluetooth speaker. So, catch is I swear to God, she never told me. Hey, really? Listen, I swear I My bad, bro. You're good. You're good. I swear. Sorry. Sorry, bro. Wrong person. Wrong person. Maybe it's a misunderstanding. Wait. No, dude. Listen. 18. I swear to God. I swear to God. I don't move. Wait. You trolling, too? No. We got the messages. No, she said maybe it's a misunderstand. No. No. No. Wait. Wait. Wait. I swear to God.
I'm trolling. Wait. I swear to God. Okay. She's going to pull up right now. Yeah. Yeah. Wait. Wait. Wait. Please pull it up. Please pull it up. Wait. How do you Why do you talk to girls about raping them? Are you crazy? Yeah. You Okay. Wait. It's a CNC kink. It It's a public kink. Like uh it's I I even said wait I have the text I have the text right here. Jesus. So you're just going around embarrassing this guy too. I told her um consensual non-consensual. I literally I told her up here. Look. So the consensual non-consensual is people that get off on the idea of not giving consent.
So they they basically prior prior to doing things give consent to not give consent. And that's like where the idea of like a safe word comes in and all of that. I mean, again, it's it's a weird it's it's weird bedroom stuff that other, you know, again, consenting adults choose to engage in. There's nothing wrong with it. You might think it's weird. You might think it's creepy. You might think there's something wrong with them. And I can guarantee you that a lot of these people probably wish they didn't feel this way, but they do. It's kinky, but it's two adults and there's nothing wrong with it.
No, like no. So I I told her that does it say Listen, Neon, let me read this real quick. Wait, wait, wait. No, wait, wait. What? Hold on. Let me Yo, one at a time. One at a time. Let me just show you. Okay, so you guys know that, you know, I'm not playing or anything like that. Can I read the whole evidence? Come on. He said, "Lol, you can tell me." [ __ ] Okay, I want to be totally honest before everything. I lied on there. I'm 16, but [ __ ] Wait, wait, wait. No, no, wait. Don't make it weird, please.
Wait, wait. I'm calling the cops right now. Calling the cops. Yeah. Uhoh. He's calling the cops right now. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. No, wait. And like the thing is that like nobody who is trying to meet a 16-year-old would say, "I'm going to call the cops on this situation right now. Nobody would do that. Don't talk to me, [ __ ] Wait, that's me. That's not me. I'm shaking. I'm ax." What do you mean why are you shaking? Cuz he's [ __ ] terrified. He's got people like running a camera in his face. They did some sting operation.
You're broadcasting his like kinks on on on [ __ ] not TV, but on the internet to everybody to see. You're spam calling him a pedophile with his face there. And you're trying to like entrap him into this. Yeah, I'd be really stressed out. Duh. Of course. My account. Hey, buddy. You pulled up. You just pulled out. You just thought we didn't have pulled out, buddy. Guess what? No. No. Where is Where is the right? Guess what? Hello. Um, can you guys come? Can you guys come to my location right now? I am at um Snapchat. You must have two.
Absolutely based. Yeah, I swear now. No, no, you have two Snapchat. Please read the text. Someone please come. And the funny thing is that they they still won't even acknowledge that they were wrong. They will not even acknowledge it. You're one of those tech Indians. Smart ones, huh? You two Snapchat Mazaka. What are you doing? What are you Why are you Oh my god. Maza [ __ ] I know you blast your company to everybody that you're a pedophile that own a company. What's the name of his company? What's the name of his company? So we can let everybody know that the pedophile company.
So what do you think? What's your take on it? What do you think happened? He deleted the Snapchat. Like what happened? He deleted the snaps or he [ __ ] has a burner snap that he used. We're not stupid. We do this every day. You know how many windows like she's talking to? We're not stupid. We do this every day, man. Snap. Why would she go another snap? You have a second phone? No. Snap us every day. He's only talked to you on one snap. He's trying to cover it up, but yet he was [ __ ] So you think he hacked the system?
He's [ __ ] up himself. YOU THINK HE SO OH. OH, you so you think he haps Snapchat cuz he's an Indian and they do like computer stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, we're we do this all. Oh, we know this stuff. We know you. Huh? You don't have to fool me. Not up. But yeah, we only have one snap that connects to you. No, guys. Listen. I did not talk to her at Snapchat. I said this. Look. Okay. Wait. Wait. What time is it? 7:29. Did we get the wrong guy? Where is my toy? The same [ __ ] that you were saying on the way here.
the same [ __ ] person talking. No, it's [ __ ] pedophile talking. You're talking to a 16-year-old. Don't look at me in my eye, [ __ ] I'll [ __ ] [ __ ] you up, bro. I'm not trying to fight. Listen, I I am not a violent person. I'm not trying. We're not trying to fight you, too. You're my You're a violent person with men, but you want to rape a little girl? Oh, yeah. That's Jesus, bro. Who is this guy? [ __ ] her throat in an alley, right? You walked HER LIKE A DOG BY HER NECK. HOW ABOUT I WALK you like a dog down this [ __ ] park?
No, I thought that How about I walk you by just see this is a 2enter. This is a 2enter. You can't have a normal society with people like this in it. You can't have somebody doing this. This is totally unsustainable. The [ __ ] behavior. Yep. Exactly. Right. Damn. Should I do it? Damn. Should I walk you like a doctor in your car and let you in? WHY DON'T YOU JUST BLOCK HER WHILE YOU'RE ON YOUR PHONE? YOU JUST BLOCKED HER WHILE YOU'RE ON your phone. He just blocked her. He just blocked her. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
I I did not block her. Where did I block her? HOW DID YOU WAIT, WAIT, GUYS. HOW the [ __ ] am I blocked right now talking to you? Emoji looks exactly the same, bro. That emoji looks exactly the same on that account, you dumb ass. It looks exactly like you, bro. Wait, I'm fans. Not even on my Please just let one person talk. I can't even understand what's happening. You probably blocked you. I'm screenshotting everyone the whole time. You've been tapping [ __ ] and deleting [ __ ] bro. Some type of prank. It's not some type of prank. We caught you trying to [ __ ] a little girl.
Is it a prank that you were trying to [ __ ] a little girl? Is that a prank? Is it a prank that you were walking her like a dog through the park? Oh, look at you. Guys, guys, guys, let's all Yo. Yo, guys. Everybody just cut it. Yo, hold on. Let's start from the beginning. Hey, what do you mean? So, she got the Guys, stop. What do you mean by wrong text messages? Just explain. Okay, look. Yeah, let me hear your side of the story. Everybody gets to go ahead. So, okay. Gabe, I asked you, bro, please.
Okay. Okay. So, I mean, I'm going to just show you everything one by one. Okay. But you are Indian, so you are smart. So, you probably cheated the same. No, but for Man, bro, again in the middle of me stay talking, bro. I asked you guys. Holy [ __ ] I was just perfectly like I was getting a perfect [ __ ] farm clip and then somebody had to Okay. Hello. How about you? Okay, let's go. Yeah. So, okay. Actually, go tell about that. Johanna, um hello ma'am. Are you still here? We are on the way. I don't want to think like what the [ __ ] is going on.
Does anybody have any weapons? What weapons? Um, no. To to my knowledge, no one has any weapons. Say hi to you being for Indian. You're [ __ ] Explain it to the cops. Jesus. Yes. Where's the cops? Suspect. Here we go. Sorry. Sorry. So, now they got the cops involved. Uh-oh. Yeah. See, he's not that scared. We got a crazy guy here. The mustache is crazy. Mhm. What's up? Yeah. This guy is crazy. This one's actually the evidence and stick stuff in your throat and toys. Bluetooth in the anus. Crazy. It's not a quiet and they're like trying to tell the cop that like this guy deleted it cuz he's Indian.
Which one of you? Oh my god. Jesus, guys. Can we talk to you alone over here? Jesus. And now, oh, now he's trying to talk to the girl, right? Of course. And so that's what happened. Vitali. And so he issues an apology. And he says, "It's come to my attention in a recent episode of Catching Child Predators. My team and I mistakenly portrayed Atas Sinfana as a child predator. This was a mistake that I deeply regret. He never intended to meet a minor and has been cleared of all wrongdoing. I apologize to him, his family and friends, and anyone who's been affected by this mistake.
To be clear, we work, we do this work to expose predatory behavior is of the utmost importance, but in doing so, we cannot lose sight of the truth. I have removed the video from all of my accounts, and I ask that anyone who has saved it to do the same. Though I never encourage anyone to attempt to contact any person in my videos, I ask that anyone who's attempting to contact this person to uh I ask anyone who's doing to at once or to stop at once. Basically, this is a learning experience for my team and I and I will ensure that we remain committed to the truth as we always have.
So, this is in in my opinion like I I think and apparently he got banned on Twitch or on kick for this. Like, let me see. Yeah, there it is. Vitality banned on kick following his uh you know his incident with this guy. Um by the way um this is give a week till he's unbanned. I don't think they should ever unban him for this. Uh I I don't I don't think they should ever unban him for this. Like this is the kind of thing that you can't afford to make a mistake on. And they did make a mistake on it.
Uh that's it. And uh yeah getting sued. I mean yeah I mean because again like it gets the the the website involved with this. It gets everybody involved with this. So, yeah, you got to make a make an example of it. Help him sue him. I mean, I I look, I don't want to get involved with this, right? I mean, I don't even know what happened, but like all I'm saying, it's a lawsuit waiting. Yeah. I mean, obviously, it's got to be a lawsuit cuz the guy didn't do anything wrong. The guy should have been permit a while ago for his own mental health.
I mean, the thing is that the person that was with him was like a thousand times worse than he was, honestly. Like, he wasn't even really that bad. Like, obviously, he was the one doing it. I'm not saying he's not, you know, guilty, but the other person was even worse than him. So things like that diminish what kind of work the other catchers like Alex Rosen do. Yeah. And and also here's the thing, too, is that doing something like this live should not happen. Like I I understand doing videos of it and stuff like that, but especially doing it live is like such a huge cuz like what if you make a mistake?
What if something goes wrong? What if you get the wrong guy? Well, now you have somebody like that that is now their face is out there attached with, you know, to catch a predator show and it's going to ruin their entire life. It's it's too risky to do. And you like realistic, you can't even have that happen. These guys are like SJWs. They want money, but they act like they care about morals and ethics. You know what's really funny? You're totally right. You're absolutely right. These people are just like SJWs. They are just like social justice warriors.
They're just like virtue signals, etc. They act like they care about these little girls. They act like they care about doing these things, but what they're really after is content. What they're really after is clout. And no, you're absolutely right. It is the exact [ __ ] same. I never thought about that, but you're right. And again, there are some people that do this. I I'm not trying to group all of them in one category because I do think that there are some people that do it with good intentions, but I think that Vitality bringing a bunch of people like that, not having the police involved and not cooperating with them at all, like leading up to this prior to this, uh, this is just bad faith behavior.
It's undeniable, 100% guaranteed bad faith behavior. Thank [ __ ] god he got banned. Hopefully, it's a perma ban. You can't do this, man. Instead of contingent predator, he caught a ban. You're right. He does deserve to be sued. Even if he actually did think the guy was a pedo, there was no reason to be racist. Well, being you shouldn't be sued for being racist. I mean, realistically, he's being a stupid [ __ ] But that's not against the law. Well, the thing is really what the problem is. Even if he thought the guy if you actually thought the guy was a pedophile, then you should have went and talked to the police.
You can't just go and say, "Well, you know, this is what happened and because this is what I think was what happened, now everybody has to believe it." Messed up this dude's life because you can't take back an accusation like that no matter the innocence. Yeah. Like even whenever people get accused of something and then kind of uh you know uh vindicated later on in a lot of cases the accusation still follows them because people always see that at the beginning and they think that there is some kind of like oh well they made him say that or there was some other intention behind why it happened.
Vitality got arrested in prison right now for what we speak. Yeah. I don't know why he thought this was a good idea. Ah should sue the [ __ ] out of kick. He's going to get he's going to sue kick. Why would he sue Kick? Like I I don't know why LSF has this like weird hate boner for Kick. It's like you like what? Why? Why? Oh, because they have gambling. Twitch has gambling. Like so what is the what is the it's it's so irrational. It's so weird. It's Reddit. Yeah. I don't understand why so many people get so mad about kick.
Like what is this Reddit in general does? It's a virtue. It's a total, it is a transparent virtue signal. People are getting groomed on kick. They're getting groomed on Twitch. Every bad thing that happens on Twitch happens on kick. Every bad thing that happens on kick basically happens on Twitch. That's it. Platforming degenerates. What? Platforming degenerates? I mean, like, what do you mean? So, because the guy's able to stream there, they should sue the website then. I mean, should they sue Twitter, too? Should they sue YouTube? And I think for a lot of these people, the answer that should they sue Reddit?
Like should Reddit get sued when somebody says that, you know, like, you know, they're making these like weird, you know, illusions towards, you know, shooting the president or something like that. Um, should Reddit get sued? Like, I don't think so. I think you should go after those people, right? That's the problem. Yeah, they immediately banned them. So, kick only bans to protect themselves in the streamer. They unban later when there's less attention. It's all temporary. Well, I don't know about that. Sam Pepper. Yeah, I don't know really what happened with him, but uh I don't know why they unbanned him.
I think that was stupid that they unbanned him, especially after he did that. But um either way, I think the Vitality thing is even worse in in like a different way because it's an entire it's an incentive structure. There's not an incentive structure around what Sam Pepper did. He's just a [ __ ] But there's an entire incentive structure around what Vitali did, which is the main issue. And you think a year in a Filipino prison would have taught him to learn not to harass the public? Was a year not enough? Apparently not. If you think about it, he might be able to sue the site because they're funding his behavior.
I don't know if they'd win. No, they're not going to win. Of course not. That would be insane. But either way, um I just find this to be absolutely [ __ ] insane. But uh yeah, supang bystander facing a lawsuit. Oh my god. Well, either way, um thank god that this guy got deplatformed for this. The amount of uh you know like virtue parading around that's like actually just clout chasing is [ __ ] exhausting. It is so annoying. Reddit should get investigated for allowing such dumbass to [ __ ] They should get investigated, but they shouldn't be held accountable for what was said.
And uh that's really I think what the big difference
