But I do feel like also another thing is that in a lot of games, I don't know if you guys ever get this vibe where it's like in a lot of video games, unless you're playing on hard mode, you're not really playing the game. You're just like basically walking around and using one button and killing everything. And I do feel like that's a little bit kind of lame. A beta. Yeah. And and like I've noticed this with a lot of games where it's like one thing I especially noticed it with is with like turnbased games like and having extra it you know like a lot of turn-based games they give you like extra flavor items you know it's like you can throw like a candle and it does more damage that level of like complexity you don't really ever hit that level of complexity unless you're playing at the at the hardest difficulty and like even then there are like other ways is to like avoid it. I I like the idea of like fighting very very difficult and like powerful like gallions or something rather than like doing like really fast like speed kills. I think we watched some of the second season. I don't remember but it was really good. I I like that that show a lot. And I'm trying to think besides that like uh you know I haven't really watched a lot of other pirate stuff like I don't know if they've done like a pirate movie any anytime soon. I I do feel like Pirates of the Caribbean when it came out, it was like the best [ __ ] movie. I love that movie. What about Pirates? I don't even know what that is. It's like if you have really good actors in a movie, the movie is going to be good. It doesn't really matter what the premise is unless like the story is just like awful or something like that. But most of the time whenever you see a bunch of like really good actors like you're going to have a really good movie amazing show but the ending was so lame. I mean there's a lot of people I mean again like whenever you're like a well-known guy and everything like something like that can happen. I think they should do a Mega Man remake the same way that they did if they're not going to do another sidescroller, which I think they should do this also. I think they should do it like Metroid Prime. Do it like Metroid Prime or like kind of like Ratchet and Clank, but more like Metroid Prime. Mouse PI will be a good game. It's like Doom and Looney Tunes mix. Yeah, I remember seeing that. Okay, we're almost at Tortuga. They announced Mega Man at the Game Awards. Yeah, but it was like another The thing is that and this is kind of the issue is that like what is Mega Man now going to be able to do that every other every other one of those games already doesn't do. You see what I'm saying? So, it's like the the uniqueness to it, I think, has kind of been encroached on. So, like I'm going to play it for sure, right? I'm going to play the game like 100%. It's the same as Castlevania. Like, but I would I I mean this is like my dream. Okay. My dream is that From Software makes the new Legend of Zelda or the new Castlevania. That's what I want to see. When ammo has weight, it sucks, but I actually like it. Yeah. I mean, like I think it depends on like how realistic a game is. And if I farm more, I'm going to like, you know, get everything I need. Especially like killing those ships. But it seems like like the strategy is that you kill ships until you get the chance to make a ship that's like a higher tier and then you move on to like the next tier so you can fight higher ships. But uh yeah, I I'm I wanted to show you guys more of the game cuz I have I have really been having fun playing this. This has been really good. It's been a great game. A savage fat [ __ ] Okay. I I I I I didn't know he could do the charge, honestly. Like if I had known that was going to happen, I would have never put myself in that situation. I thought, you know, logically the charging bores would be able to do the charge. Well, that's not the way this game works. Okay. Uh, let me just You know what? I should probably kill these guys while I'm here, right? If these pirates have respawned, let me see if they Oh, they did. I feel like I should kill them. That way I get like more uh Captain one clean shot. That way I get more of those like insignias. And those insignas are pretty valuable cuz I'm going to need those in order to turn them in. Fanama 2 got a weird giga update today. Yeah. I mean, like, look, man. I I really don't think they're going to do a I don't think they're going to do a DLC, but somebody said that if Zunou, who was the guy that made Dragons Dogma 1 and 2, they said he didn't make Dark Arisen. And in my opinion, Dark Arisen is not better than base Dragons Dogma DLC. It's like infinitely better. It's like just way way way way way [ __ ] better. So, from that perspective, like I I would definitely I don't know, man. I just feel like the game like it didn't have really great sales. So, I mean, if they do a DLC for Dragons Dogma 2, I think it could potentially make Dragon's Dogma 2 a better game than Crimson Desert. Like right now, and this might get me in trouble, I actually think that Crimson Desert is a better game than Dragon's Dogma. And not only do I think that, I think it's not even close. Like it it's like just a way way way better game. It's obvious. I mean, to me it is, right? It It's very obvious. Dragons dog combat, though. Dragon's Dogma Combat is really good and I think it's unequivocally better than Crimson Desert. It is. But at the same time, like, and these are both games that I put over a 100 hours into, by the way. I played these both these games a lot. I think that the combat in Dragon's Dogma is really it it's if Dragon's Dogma if if if you had Dragons Dogma combat inside of the amount of content that Crimson Desert had, you would have the game of the year. This would be the game of the year. Would not even be a question. Um, yeah, it would be. But, um, I I I just think that really like it just like Dragon Sagma 2 just didn't have a lot of content. Like what I I unironically think they should do is they should just add in a lot of the monsters from Monster Hunter. They should just like add in uh like I'm trying to think like what monster would like really make sense like things like Angenath and [ __ ] like that. I think it would be really cool. That is a big boy. Wait, I'm already full up on inventory Oh my god. Okay, let me figure this out after I kill this guy. If I had missed that parry, it would have killed me again. that was close. Okay. Uh, can I loot any more of this? Do I need any of these? I feel like I don't really need any of these. I guess I can throw away the rock and loot the meat. Put on the hat. Oh, yeah. I think that just because the combat is really flashy in Crimson Desert doesn't mean that it's actually of higher quality. Like I I know what you're I know what you're trying to say, but I just don't agree with that. Now, I don't think so. Like I can I but I can see where somebody's coming from when they say that, though. It's not like you're 100% wrong. I just, you know, think that there are other things that are more important. Dragon Sama 2's abilities feel like they matter more. Yeah, like in Crimson Desert Oh, I have a borehead. I I don't need a borehead. Uh I was just thinking for a second. Um actually, I should probably go and just teleport back right now because I'm I'm full up on inventory anyway. Game play is is king. Yeah. And so like basically like I could show my character in Crimson Desert really quick before I end. Um yeah, and I can show you kind of what I mean by that. It's all the way over there. [ __ ] Okay, let me just I can just do this later on. Somebody had a tornado in Dragon Sto and feeling like I haven't been able is a feeling I haven't feel like I can recreate. I'm going to be honest. I think the tornado was a lot cooler in Dragon Age Stoma 1. Maybe unpopular opinion, but I think it was a lot cooler and it had more like it was like there was like more function to it. I spam heal into boss fights in Crimson Desert. No real skill check. I mean, I I mean, I got to the point to where I could beat the like I'm waiting for the boss the boss rematch thing so I can try out the other bosses and everything. Dragon Soma one had a much better field than Dragon Sama 2. I feel like also Dragons Dogma one like the only problem that I had with that one of the problems I have with that game is that the like the overwhelming majority of the combat encounters in that game were in like very small hallways like the the high-end combat encounters like in Bitterblock Isle. And I think that it made the mystic archer infinitely more powerful than I think it should be because like you could like for example like you could stun lock death just with like that spell. And I I felt like that was kind of like it was like a structural advantage that you had in the game that um shouldn't have existed in the way it did. And it was like it was something like if if the the environment was made differently, the combat balancing would be different. We do a hard mode. Play through the Crimson Desert. No, I'll probably just swap it over. Like I I don't think the game I don't think the game really warrants it. Like, and I also put in like, you guys have to think like I put in how many hours into this game? 380 hours. No, I don't want to do I don't want to do another playthrough. I did my playthrough, man. So, this is my guy. obviously like all my gear is fully upgraded. And I also have a fully upgraded uh bow as well. So all these are are fully like totally like I mean it's not I don't have it like men maxed. Like both of these are upgraded too. Uh I have like tons of money obviously. Um let me think. Oh yeah, my my skill tree is fully maxed out. I didn't do these cuz I didn't really need them. Uh, this is totally done. Stamina, health, spirit. This is all done. My journal, this is about where I was at at the journal. I did a good amount of this, but not all of it. Like the delicia, this is kind of where I I kind of stopped. Stuff like this, I kind of stopped with this, too. And uh, like there was like a like an infinite respawning thing. I didn't do that. And but yeah, a lot of these I already did as well. And let me see And I guess I can just I can show a little bit of combat cuz like so I I have it to where like my range damage and also my melee damage are both like insanely good. Like I'll just So I'll show you the melee damage first. Oh, I have the Do I have the wrong weapon? Yeah, like he's dead like pretty much instantly. They actually changed the way this works. Yeah, something was changed here. But, uh, yeah, I don't know. And let me go and get back on the boat like and see if I can find something. I didn't know they're going to run away that fast. Why not long sword? I like the two-handed sword better. I think it's cooler. Yeah, that's that's actually the reason why it is a really good game. It's a very good game. Poor gazels. Yeah. What a minute. So, yeah, I have a basically I have like my my gems on this give me infinite arrows. Like I didn't feel the need to get a 2x like 60%. I'm probably going to get rid of this health siphon and I just put attack bonuses on it to make it easier for me. And so like now I can just do Just instantly kills them. And so like because I have maxed out stamina also, uh it makes it like super easy to just like insta kill like let me show you like with this huge group, right? All dead. So it's really good. And yeah, like I I I've been doing this a bit. I have a lot to look forward to. Yeah, the um the explosive arrows are really really really good. Yeah, but I I do think the main concern and like criticism I have for Crimson Desert is a lack of like a feeling of unique play style differentiation. Like the play style of long sword is functionally about the same as the play style of spear. And the play style of spear is functionally about the same as the play style of uh of the two-handed sword, right? Or like of one-handed and two-handed are basically hand like everything's basically the same. And I feel like that's kind of the that's that's probably the biggest criticism I would have for the game right now is like that there's no real sense of uh like motivation to like try out a new like the only real difference in build is like a bow build. But the problem is that the bow build is like there's one version of the bow build that's like it's so good that there's no reason for you to ever want to do anything else besides that version. And like that's the the explosive arrows. And because explosive arrows are so strong, there's not going to be a point where, you know, you're going to want to use like, oh, okay. Like get him out of here. Get him out of here, bro. Like I love it. And uh anyway, uh you're not going to want to use anything else besides that because of how good it is. All the weapons being the same. Yeah. Like for example, like in Elden Ring, like each weapon has a different like attack attack set. Okay, so here here's some guys. This is what I was looking for before I was going to end. I was going to show this. So this is like the melee combat. I can kill everything in like one or two hits. And this is also like not been maxed at all. Or I can use this and still do that. And so, yeah, like that's basically like that's where I'm at right now with the combat. And, uh, you know, it's very good, but it's like it's one-dimensional, but it's a good dimension, if that makes sense. Did you kill the ogre boss? No, I didn't. I don't even know where it is. Uh, where is it? Yeah, if you guys want, I I can show. I I probably haven't done it. Let me see. I just look it up real quick. Where's he at? It didn't say whoever designed the ogre boss can go to hell. This secret boss fight in Crimson Desert not only gives you an extremely overpowered necklace that gives you an insane attack boost and no BS guides like this. And to fight desolate closer like a giant battle arena to a place called the des. It's right there. All right. Um, give me a second. Uh yeah, it's about there. We ride. Yeah, I I'll show you a boss. Like I I've never done this boss before, so I might as well do it. Crimson Desert area. Yeah, it took a lot. Like I I think it was definitely like kind of a risk to, you know, like put an area like that literally is in the name like that far away, but I think it was definitely the right call. If this guy doesn't spawn, like I I'm not going to even try to figure out how, but you know, if he shows up and just spawns in, I'll kill him. Um, let me just go up above here. I don't know if this I don't know. This doesn't really look like a boss arena to me. Oh, maybe that kind of does. Doesn't Ugabooga get more swords? You mean uh Una? Um, he I never played him because he's just worse, right? That it's really that simple. Oh [ __ ] No, I've never done this. That's a big boy. so I'm supposed to worry about people are upset about this. This seems easy. Why are people upset about this? How much health is he? Wait, really? All right. All right.
