It'll be a case of winner stays on and whichever car loses the quartermile drag race will be eliminated. At the end of the video, I'll crown the ultimate Italian supercar and I'll also reveal the quarter mile time for each model.
We'll start with this Lamborghini Huracan LP582, this Ferrari 458 Speciali. But before we race, let's meet the owners. This is Kev. Hi. You're a lovely car. Beautiful color by the way. Anyway, what really matters is the next race, drag race. Standing quarter mile from a standstill, proper launch. Whichever car wins goes through to the next round. You ready? Ready. This Huracan STTO looks mad, but are its stats mad enough to take on that Ferrari which could well be tuned and have a bit more horsepower than it should do? And if you remember last time I was on, we struggled cuz it was very very damp and cold. Okay. So, I'm going to need to trick Sammy to let me warm the tires up because I haven't been doing any warming of his tires, but he might be up for it cuz that needs warm tires as well.
So, let's not tell him that cuz I'll just play on the four-wheel drive. Right. Let's see the stats on the car. This is the Daddy Lamborghini Huracan. It's the Performante. So, it's 5.2 L naturally aspirated V10. Puts out 640 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. Drives all four wheels by a 7-speed dual clutch It weighs in at 1,482 kg. So, more power, less weight than the previous Huracan I had. And it's a 2019 car. Value today is about £185,000. NO, LET'S RACE IT. THIS is going to be really close. I mean, it was neck and neck pretty much with the other Huracan.
Now I've got the Performante. You're going to need to make sure your tires are nice and hot so you can put down your power. Formal protest. Go on. You're on Trafo RS. RS is now the newer model. Absolutely. So, what we're going to do is actually race this first of all against the 488 over some rolling races and stuff like that. You think you think it's got it? Yeah. Hybrid system. All right. Right. We need to get into this quickly because we've got a horrible rain cloud coming in. This is the most powerful car here. 3 L twin turbo V6 with an electric motor and combined that system puts out 830 horsepower and 740 new meters of torque driving the rear wheels only by an 8-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox with launch control because of the hybrid system it's a bit heavy 1,640 kilos.
Now this is a 2025 car and it's worth about £280,000. So let's have a listen to a V6. Is it going to sound poor compared to the other cars? Weird start. Is that race? Is that in race? This is going to be interesting cuz we're going to find out just how tuned that car is because it shouldn't be close to this really, should it? This is going to be interesting because now we've got rid of Mendy's car. I think this is going to be really close between the 296 and the Huracan Puffante. I think it will. And you know what? Fair's fair. That was the best launch cuz I've been in this car for 12 hours now. That was the best launch this has done. Had this done against the other car, it might have been different again.
But anyway, let's see. Well, this time then was exactly the same as the performante. So, this race is well and truly on. Okay, let's bring out the path. See which one wins, Lambo or Ferrari. Interesting. Then, if that was his best launch and it was on the right hand side like I suspected, the side isn't making any difference. Right, we're not going to do a rolling race or brake test or anything like against the Huracan, the T96, cuz we know the T96 is just going to beat it because you saw what happened with that against the 488.
So, it's all down to the drag race. It's going to be very close. So, then Phil, you're going to be driving your own car. It's going to be best two out of three. You're here for team Lamborghini, and I've swapped sides to team Ferrari. Be interesting to see how it launches with the four-wheel drive against that. But I do feel, Mark, that you've brought a bit of a gun to a knife fight there. Hell no. Um, on the last run the times was the same time that I got out of that. So, it's going to be super close.
But maybe this will perform better. It could perform better. I'm going to go into CT off. Right, everyone. This is it. It's the decider. Lamborghini or Ferrari. Which is the best? Well, which is the quickest of the standing quarter No way. Gain it. You had a mega launch there. Mine was not good. I was a bit nappy on the line. It spun up its wheels. This can go faster. Can yours go faster? I think that was probably one of the best launches I've ever done. It was incredible. Let's go again. Let's get these tires hot.

And I'm always reeling you back in. And I just got past you. I think if I get a perfect launch, I've got you. But if you get a perfect launch and I don't, you could win the decider. You ready? You going to do it for team Lamborghini? And come on, team Lamborghini. That was a cocked up GEAR CHANGE. COME ON, FERRARI, PLEASE.
I don't know. What happened? I literally don't know. I literally I don't know. I don't know. I genuinely don't know. That is crazy. We're going to have to go to a photo finish. I have no idea which car won. In the meantime, let's have a look at the 1/4 mile times of all the other cars. Well, the 458 Speciali was the slowest. It did the standing/4 mile in 11.7 seconds. The Huracan LP 582 took 11.4 seconds. The Huracan STTO 11.2 seconds. The Huracan LP 6104 10.9 seconds. And Sam's best time in the 488 Pista was 10.8 seconds.
But before I can reveal the overall winner, I nearly forgot something. Guess who won. We actually don't know. No idea. Medie, there you go. You can have your clothes. End of the day now.
