Summary
ElevenLabs’ creator walks you through making AI time travel vlogs using C Dance 2.0 inside 11 creative. Start by creating a character reference sheet from uploaded images to keep visuals consistent across scenes, even across 15-second generations. The guide emphasizes writing highly descriptive prompts, tagging the reference sheet, and planning 5–7 shots per 15-second segment to form a believable vlog sequence. Once the scenes are generated, you can save each generation, then import them into 11 creative’s studio for traditional editing, music generation, and voice adjustments. The video also demonstrates how to add a background track that matches the vibe, trim clips for duration, and swap voices to maintain consistency across multiple generations. Finally, it showcases swapping the voice or even replacing the character with a new reference to create alternative versions without losing continuity. The overall message: with careful prompting, character consistency, and post-production tweaks, you can produce shareable AI time travel content with minimal friction. Q&A prompts at the end invite viewers to try the workflow and engage with the community.
Key Takeaways
- Upload and assemble multiple reference images (Alec 1–3) to generate a single, consistent character sheet using GPT image 2 in C Dance 2.0.
- Plan 5–7 shots per 15-second generation (e.g., selfie handheld wide, selfie close, outward shot) with precise timestamps for duration.
- Tag the reference sheet in the generation prompt so the same character appears across all scenes and future generations.
- Save each 15-second generation to files, then import into 11 creative studio for timeline editing and background music generation.
- Use 11 creative’s voice changer or swap to a new voice (or a new character) to maintain consistent narration across variations.
- Generate a custom background track by describing the vibe (e.g., cinematic time travel ice age vlog) and adjust volume, fades, and duration to fit the clip.
- You can replace the character with a new reference (e.g., a yeti) and regenerate scenes while preserving overall continuity and style.

AI time travel vlogs are getting millions of views all over social media. So, here's how you can make your own with C Dance 2.0 inside of 11 creative. So, what you just saw was an AI time travel vlog, and these have been blowing up all over social media. So, today I'm going to show you how to create your own Let's begin. So, to begin creating your AI time travel vlog inside of 11 creative, we're going to click on flows, and you can click the first link in the description to get started, and this is also where we'll put the template so you can actually just go and just swap out your reference.
But, if you're making one from scratch inside of flows, we can simply click on new flow in the right right here. And now we're taken onto our blank canvas, and here we want to start by creating the character that we're going to put into our time travel vlog. And for this one, I actually want to put myself in the time travel vlog. [music] And to do that, if I actually click on my files, I've already uploaded some references of myself, but you can go ahead and click the upload button and upload your own reference images.
And here, what I want to do is I simply want to drag them onto my blank canvas, and as you can see, now I've got the first reference, the second reference, and I've even got a third one right here. And what I'm going to do using these is create a character reference sheet, but obviously, you could create a brand new character from scratch by simply generating it. To generate a character, all you want to do is right click and select image generation. And now you can actually go and type in the prompt and describe the character you want, and just like with an image and video, select any of the best AI image models in the world.
I actually want to use GPT image 2, and now what I'm going to do is I'm actually going to drag all of these reference images to use them as a reference, and then I'm going to type in this prompt right here, and all I need to make sure I do is actually tag the specific references. So, here as you can see, I'm tagging Alec 1, Alec 2, Alec 3. That way, it's using the three reference images to create a super accurate reference sheet of me. And the reason we do this is that we want a consistent character throughout all of our C Dance 2.0 generations throughout the entirety of our vlog, cuz we might be doing 30 seconds, we might be doing 1 minute, you might even be doing a 10-minute vlog, and you want to make sure that your character always looks the same with the same outfit, the same hair, the same face throughout every single generation.
And now I've got my reference sheet that I'm going to be using for every single C Dance 2.0 generation in the future. Now, to create the first scene, first of all, what I want to do is actually just break down the prompt. And this is the prompt that we're going to use for the AI time travel vlog, and the quality of your AI time travel vlog depends heavily on the prompt. And here you want to be as descriptive as possible, but you also want to add criteria and elements that make it feel like a real vlog.
And so, the very first thing here is we're describing the type of video that we're generating. So, a cinematic vlog, we're describing the location, which is the frozen tundra, and then we're adding selfie handheld because that's what makes a vlog feel like a vlog. Here, we're describing the storyline. And so, here you essentially just want to describe what happens during the moment that your character is vlogging within your generation. And then in the character section, we want to make sure that we tag the reference sheet that we just generated with GPT image 2. That way, throughout the entire generation and the individual scenes in that generation, and also future generations, we'll always have the same consistent character.
And to really sell the vlog, it's very important to describe the environment, and you can often use an LLM to help picture and be descriptive about the location and the environment that you're generating. And after that, you can then go step by step into breaking down the specific action sequence. And we do this for all of our prompts, and it really gives you a nice sequence of vlog clips with the same character in the same environment that all feel connected. And so, as you can see here, we've got shot 1, shot 2, shot 3, shot 4, shot 5, and shot 6.
And the sweet spot is usually between five and seven shots within one 15-second C Dance 2.0 generation. But for each one, we start with the type of shot that it is. example, shot 1, selfie handheld wide. For shot 2, selfie close. For shot 3, the camera is turned outward. And then each shot has the timestamps to determine the duration of that specific shot. And I always like to include a little negative prompt section, which says no music, no voiceover, no text on screen, no transitions, because we want this to feel like some raw vlog clips, because we can then add music afterwards, and if we want to, if you're creating a unique character that has the same voice, we can also use the 11 creative voice changer to make sure the voice is consistent through all the scenes inside of studio.
And now back in my flow, what I'm going to do is create a video generation node. And here, we're going to go ahead and change this to C Dance 2.0, and I want to generate with the sound on, and my generation is going to be 15 seconds long so it matches the specific shot timestamps that we've input in the prompt. And then in the video generation node, I'm going to paste my prompt, but before we start tagging the references, I'm going to drag a connector from the reference sheet and use it as a reference image for this video node.
And now in my prompt, what I want to do is tag the specific reference sheet. So, as you can see, in the character section of my prompt, we're now tagging the character. So, it's going to use this reference sheet to generate the person within the vlog. And now that I've done this, I can simply click run. I'm in the ice age. This is actually the ice age. I am so cold. This is not a normal amount of cold. Look. Look at them. That is an actual mammoth herd. Don't move. Don't move. And so, as you can see, we've generated a 15-second AI time travel vlog.
And in it, it looks exactly like me throughout all of the scenes. The dialogue feels natural and authentic because the wording we used feels like it's off the cuff and natural. And to do that, within each shot, we've added a little dialogue section, and then we just write out the words that we want to be said in that shot. And as you can see, we've got one for each different shot. And you can even see that the outfit is consistent throughout the entirety of the generation, and you can even see the shoes at one point that look like just as they do on the reference sheet.
And so, if we wanted to go ahead and now create the following sequence of that, well, we could simply hold down option, duplicate this node, and then we could just tweak the prompt accordingly. And we could then go and describe and edit the next 15 seconds that we want to generate. And because we're using the reference sheet, well, it's going to be consistent. And if we actually wanted to use the same location, what we could have done is generated the location beforehand and use that as a reference as well. And with C Dance 2.0, I believe you can use up to nine different images as a reference.
But what's really cool is that if we then wanted to go and chop this up, make some edits, and add some background music, and even change the voice, because you might have generated a unique voice with voice design, I could right click on my generation, click save to files, choose the folder that I want to save it to, click save, and now if we go back into 11 creative and we click on studio, here we could go and create a new blank project for a video project. And if we go into our folder, into our workspace, we can see that we've got the C Dance 2.0 generation that we've just created.
So, I could click plus to add it to the timeline, and now we can edit this clip just like we can with a traditional editor. So, we could actually trim off the beginning, we could go into music, can actually generate some background music or some vlog music. And I've got the entire history of all of my generations, but we can simply describe the type of song that we want to hear. And so, here I could type out cinematic time travel ice age vlog and see what the AI comes up with. I can choose the number of generations that I want, so I'm just going to go for two.
And here I want to make sure that this is an instrumental, so I simply toggle this to make sure that it is an instrumental by clicking it. And then the duration, here we're going to set that to, let's just say 30 seconds for this one, or actually just under a minute because I want this to be quite a short vlog for social media. And now what I can do is simply click generate, and here we've now got our ice age vlog music that's been generated, and let's preview it. Intriguing. What about this one? [music] Okay, I prefer the first one.
So, what I can do is simply click the plus icon. That's now added to the timeline, and I like the part of the song that was in the middle, and so I'm simply going to drag it and crop off or trim off the beginning, and then we're going to trim off the end so it matches the duration of my original clip. And then I'm going to turn down the volume cuz I still want this to be background music, and I'm going to make sure that it fades in a little bit so it's not too harsh, and that it fades out as well.
And what's really cool, let's say this was a unique character that we had made, and we've also created a unique voice with it in voice design. Here, we can now go and choose a new voice and swap it so we have a consistent voice throughout all of the generations. And so, I could go and swap it to my own professional voice clone, or if it was a completely new character that we had created, we could then actually go and choose any of the voices from the voice library. So, let's say I wanted to change it to this astronaut voice or this pink yeti voice, well, I could do so.
And so, if I click change voice, and now we play it back from the beginning, this is what our vlog looks like. I'm in the ice age. This is [music] actually the ice age. I am so cold. This is not a normal amount of cold. And the voice doesn't quite match, but if we went back to our flow and we created a new image generation node, and this time we generated a completely new character, we could then regenerate this entire scene except using the yeti as the reference instead of me. And then if we generated it, brought it back into studio, swapped the voice, it would look a little something just like this.
I'm in the ice age. This is actually the ice age. I am so cold. This is not a normal amount of cold. Look. Look at them. That is an actual mammoth herd. Don't move. Don't move. Oh my god. That was right there. That was right there. And so, when it comes to creating your AI time travel vlog, it is really up to your imagination. You can put yourself within any location and any time period and make yourself say what you want and do what you want with C Dance 2.0 inside of 11 creative. It's really fun, and if you want to try it out, you can click the first link in the description down below.
