Summary

Jackfrags skips the long-range stunts and dives straight into explosive close-quarters action on Arandaz Base, showing off a fully decked shotgun build with bookshot and a suppressor. He notes that shotgun relevance hinges on closing the gap, and his run culminates in a standout 53-kill round that highlights the weapon’s chaos in tight corridors. Beyond the gameplay, he teases a future content angle by mentioning a Suru Reef map on the horizon and reminiscing about Heian Resort style vibes from Battlefield 4. He also promises to share the shotgun build on screen so viewers can copy it directly. Mid-video, he pivots to a post-round Battlefield 6 survey—Hunter Prey and Operations—to gauge community sentiment and map desire, hinting at a more structured feedback loop with the developers. You know, I realized earlier today that I've not done a shotgun video on this map, Arandaz base, and this is the perfect shotgun map. And I absolutely love using this shotgun in Battlefield 6. So, I did one a couple weeks ago where I put slugs in this, and I used it on Iberian Offensive and Cairo, and it was ridiculous the range. But today, this is all about close range. I've got the bookshot in there and a suppressor. And this is fully decked out, this bad boy. I'll put the build on the screen now so you can copy it if you like. And yeah, we're just going to see if we can go on some absolutely crazy streaks. And we're going to do something different after the round. And you guys let me know if you think you like that kind of thing or not. Well, you have to wait and see what it is. Also, you know, they did that road map video a couple weeks ago. Jesus, look at the mini map here. And they showed a picture of a new map called Suru Reef. That guy see me. Three shots. Nice try. Yeah, there's a hotel in that map. And it looks like the hotel out of he trying to res him. A map that we had in Battlefield 4. A great start. A map we had in Battlefield 4 called Heain Resort. You guys remember that? Do you think that's the same map? Do you think it's actually the same place and they're going to like make a larger extended version of that map? There's a claymore there or something. Was I seeing things through the wall then? I mean, I know I'm on that tugs now. I'll delete that. But yeah, look at the picture. To me, that kind of looks like the same hotel from High Resort. I swear it is. Jeez. Okay, I'm dead. I'm not dead. Am I not dead? I should be dead. Was he? Oh, there's a little gap there. Look at that. That is horrific. I mean, that's a pretty decent start. Is someone going to res him? Come on. I dare you go for the res. I mean, I don't have range for that. I can use the scorpion, though. Let's move. Shotguns are all about closing the gap, aren't they? So, let's put some smoke up. Roly poly and close the gap. Let's go around here. There's a little thank you, isn't there? Controlling the fight. Stay strong. I'm going go through there. I got my hammer. No, I don't have my hammer. I got that stupid new melee weapon. Do I even have a kill with that? Oh my god. Oh, that was the flank. Medic. I can't believe that guy saw me. Maybe he heard me. Damn it. I've got to go down that corridor again. Oh, yeah. If they do add a high number resort style map back in, I pray I pray that you can destroy it again cuz on that map in B4, you could jump over here. You could destroy both sides of the hotel and there was a nice bit of levolution there. Hold up. Hold up. You I can't believe that. Is this the play right here? You're friendly. The medics look so weird when they've got the knife out like that. I don't like how it looks. There's something odd about it. Ow. I mean, that's a lot of fire right there. That fire grenade launcher is really annoying. I literally can't. Okay, that's a nogo. That is a nogo. We burning them though, so this is good. Oh, they might be trying to break through here. What? Slidy guy. I don't think so. I need a [ __ ] Hold on. There's a lot of pain happening right now. There you go. You need a rest as well. Res everyone. He's right He's right. He didn't die that first time, man. That was impressive. Oh, they're flanking here. They're right in front of me. Oh, right there. One there. Yeah. Oh, sorry. Ah, hurt him too late. Might get a res. Harry, thank you, Harry. Oh, Big Tunnel's back. Everyone knows about Big Tunnel. Oh my god, that's an enemy. Bloody hell. What's he doing there? Are we breaking through? That's fine. Nice little triple uh dice. Look at this guy. Unlucky. Unlucky. UNLUCKY. OH, WHERE'S THE FOURTH DICE? Where was the fourth? We still hold the point there. Oh, wait. I'm going to go for res here. I got you, buddy. I got you. Keep down. Stay low, dude. This is mad. This map. Go for res. Thank you. I'm getting the hell out of here. It's not for me. Oh, watch out. Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. I know there was an enemy there, but I'm just going to hope that they ignore me and let me go through. It appears that they have indeed ignored me and let me go through. Now, let's think about this. There's going to be people all over this room, isn't there? There's a guy in the corner there. Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Wait. Pushed my loot there, didn't I? Maybe I switch to frags instead. Maybe that's the play. Could have been some nice frag opportunity. What have I spawned into there? Dice. Nice. Please think about the children. Wait, there's a guy here. Nice slide, bro. You going to push me? I mean, I will just terminate you. There's always a sniper in Big Tunnel every time. I got a frag this time. I'm going to use it. Hopefully they don't have an APS or anything at the back of the room here. Just got to be stealthy. You know, they always like to chill over here, don't they? Delta. There's a guy on the right that just got pinged. Who's there? Bang. Clear. I know. There. Oh. I mean, I've got control of this now. Another one. No. Watch out. Come get me. Nice try. Didn't expect the pro, did he? Right. At least we've made some progress That's good. I don't have the element of surprise anymore, though. That guy is standing with an RPG. I'm about to come back to B cuz we're losing it. Look, the enemy have taken more objectives. Two people. I think they're above me. They've got to be above, right? No, they must be. Let's go up and have a word. One guy. That's a friendly. I know. Wow. I sounded just like that meme there, didn't I? I did not see him. All right, we got it back. That's good. One day I will destroy that and drop it on an entire team's head cuz you can actually destroy that. All right, minor set back there. They tried a little flank. He's dead. There's a man on fire there. I can barely see. He's gone. Oh, behind me. Are they going to get the C flag? Oh, they got it. Okay, that's not good. I mean, can they come back from that? Isn't there a combat mechanic in the game or something? I don't know if they ever actually like tested that or explained how that works. Get out of there, buddy. Let's move. Did he make it? He's got a giant blueing out. He's done it. Whoever's been doing back caps on this map has absolutely won it for us. Doing God's work. Wait. No. Nobody here. Oh, they've got C though. I mean, I think it's over. It's too late. Three tickets. GG. Oh, was that claim got me in the last second? That does not count. That does not count at all. That was a fun game. I think I got 53 kills there with a shotgun. Not bad. Not bad at all. Yeah, shotguns are crazy on that map. It's so much fun as well to get the flanks. But the other thing that we were going to do, which I want your feedback on, is this here. So, every now and again, Battlefield send out surveys to the players to ask them how they feel about the game, good or bad, whatever. And this is a way to give feedback, so you can let them know how you really feel about the game. So, I thought it'd be fun to do one today. So, here it is then. We'd like to hear your thoughts on Battlefield 6 and the major content released most recently. Each season includes several major content updates, and in this survey focuses on the most recent update, Hunter Prey. Which areas of Battlefield do you actively follow or play today? Battlefield 6. I've done a bit of Battlefield Red SE recently, but I don't say that I'd play it regularly in Portal building. I'm not very good at that, so no, I wouldn't say that. How would you rate your overall experience with the most recent Hunter Prey update, but it added operations, which I thought was good. Quite like Operations, although it's not as good as it was in BF1. There's some good quality of life fixes, too, and they added a new battle pass for the melee weapon, which I just don't care about. But because operations is there, I'm going to put it at a six. I would put it higher if it wasn't an LTM and if it was available on more maps. experience with season 2? I think both maps have been good. Contaminated and Hogenaz base. I think they're both good. The new weapons have been pretty fun as well. I think you just need more though, didn't it? So again, I'm going to put that at at a six. I think a six is fair for me. Please indicate how much you agree or disagree with the following statements about this content update. The Hunter Prey update improved my overall enjoyment of Battlefield. Uh because of operations. Yeah, I agree with that. The Hunter Prey update increased my confidence in the direction of the game. Well, it's more LTMS, which aren't good, but it is operations. I'm going to put neutral. So, I don't think I'd disagree with that because I think if they're adding operations in the future, that does give me more confidence because they did say that they're working on it based on the feedback that we get from this. So, I think we will see operations come back. So, I'll go neutral. The Hunter update increased my trust in Battlefield Studios. Neutral. Which of the following areas from the Hunter update stood out to you as the most, either positively or negatively? Select up to three. weapon balance, game stability, game audio, vehicles, battle pass, maps, the community challenges, official coms, in-game user interface, community experiences, progression unlocks, modes. Uh, positively or negatively? I want to put modes cuz like it's great that Operations is there, but it's bad that it's an LTM. So, I think that fits the bill for me. Positively or negatively, the maps, the two maps in the operation were good overall this season. The maps were good, but there was only two. I just wish there was more of them. I kind of wish I could caveat there, but I can't. And what else? Game stability has been good, I think, overall for me. Game audio, maybe some improvements there, but not amazing. Vehicles still need a lot of work. I think the coms have been pretty good, though this season. I think they've been good at that. I can only pick three. And the fact that they dropped that road map as well during this time period, that's definitely given me a lot of confidence. So, we'll go with that. How fun was your experience with Battlefield this past week? I'd put that um seven. Yeah, seven. Rate Battlefield as it is today. Could be a lot better, couldn't it? Although, I think they're on the right path. So, we'll go six. Please indicate how much you agree or disagree with the following statements. I have trust and confidence in the future of Battlefield. 50/50. 50/50. I trust that Battlefield Studios will make the right decisions about the game's design and content. These are really interesting questions. I trust that they'll make the right decisions about the game's design and content. I hope so. I really do hope so. We'll go neutral again. They got to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. So, that remains to be seen. I trust the Battlefield Studios will listen to and act in the best interests of the community. That's a really hard one to answer because I think they're good at listening to some things but not others. And at the same time, it's a business and they're going to operate in the best interest for their business. So, I'm 50/50 again. I'm going to go Yeah, I'll go neutral. The Battle Studios team is transparent and keeps the community informed. I think that's Yeah, agree with that. Theformational communications, community updates, patch notes address the topics that I care about. Yeah, I agree with that as well. They finally mentioned server browser. If they hadn't have mentioned server browser in the road map, I'd put disagree for that definitely. But I think because of that road map post. Yeah, agree. Informational communications community updates patch notes have increased my confidence in the game. Yeah, agree. If they deliver on it, they've got to walk the walk. Like I said, next. This is fun. I like doing surveys. Select up to three areas that most positively impact your experience with Battlefield. I wish I could pick more than three of those. Jeez. I mean, battle pass. I just don't care about that at all. That's not positive. Oh, I can do negative here. Good. Good. Right. So, maps, weapon balance is pretty important, isn't it? Ah, UI, that's I mean, a lot of this stuff is really important. Vehicles, they need a big overhaul as well. Community experiences. Just think of like moment to moment. What positively impacts me? Definitely the maps, whether that's the ones that are in the game already because of the quality of them or lack of quality or in the future. So, I'm going to go with that. Overall performance is really important as well. Game stability modes. I don't I mean, I feel like conquest, breakthrough, operations, escalation, like they've got enough in the game there for me personally. Just going to leave it at two for that one positively. And this one is select the three areas that most negatively impact So based on BF6, I want to say progression been really bad. They have improved it recently. The battle pass is just there. It doesn't really negatively impact my experience, but I don't care about it. I can pick maps though. Okay, so I'm going to put maps because the lack of maps that has negatively impacted my experience. Again, I wish I could caveat Uh modes don't care. Maybe the vehicles that interplay between infantry and vehicles cuz the vehicles need a lot of work still. We'll go with vehicles. Although the UI is awful on the main menu screen. I'll leave that there. I think audio and net code could be improved a lot too, but we'll go next. Which types of communication or activity would you like to see more of from Battlefield Studios? In progress, game update previews, long-term plans. Yeah. Written developer deep dives, short form videos, long form video, community experience highlights, giveaways, community Q&A, none of the above. In progress, game update previews. I think that's like Battlefield Labs. Like I think that is important to communicate long-term plans is. I personally like developer deep dives, but I don't know if they're that popular on a massive scale. I think it's the super engaged hardcore audience who likes that kind of thing. Community experience highlights. I like that. I like when they actually show the cool stuff that's being made in Portal and support it and give XP to it. That's good. I could always do more of that. Maybe that's actually about all in terms of communication that I personally think is important for the game. That video that they did for the road map though was definitely good. So, I'm going to tick that there too just because they were quite open and honest and frank about what was coming up. Like I quite enjoyed that. So, we'll go with that. We'll go with those four. I could pick more than three there. And that's it. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Cool. Done. I think this is available in a couple different languages, too. I don't know if there's a limit on it, how many people can do it, but I'll link it in the description below if you want to do it for yourself. But, yeah, interesting survey. I know that they look at these and read them. So, yeah, if you want to share your opinion, do it. That's all for today, folks. Let me know your thoughts below. Drop a like. Thank you. That's an amazing way to help support me. Subscribe if you're new, and I'll see you next time. Bye-bye.
