A shopper fills multiple bags and steals items, prompting a confrontation and police involvement.
Asmongold reacts to a chaotic Walmart shoplifting fiasco, calling out policy flaws, police handling, and the surprising legal outcome.
Summary
Asmongold dives into a high-tension Walmart confrontation captured on camera, highlighting a shoplifting spree that spirals into a heated police interaction. He notes the “classic Walmart” setting and the spectacle of a suspect filling two blue bags while others watch, question, and sometimes intervene. The video shifts between moments of pursuit, restraint, and tactical talk as officers wrestle the suspect and navigate control, health checks, and transport to the station. Throughout, Asmongold questions the effectiveness of loss prevention, the role of body cams in policing, and the appearance of accountability when charges are dismissed despite obvious crime. He pepperedly critiques the actions of bystanders, suspects, and legal decisions, even venturing into broader political commentary about judges and accountability. The clip ends on a frustrating note for viewers: both suspects walk away without charges, prompting calls for reforms and a critique of the system. The host blends humor with sharp social commentary, turning a chaotic arrest into a conversation about deterrence, policy, and consequences. Finally, he hints at potential personal stances on how to handle theft in retail settings, signaling ongoing debate about morality, legality, and public safety.
Key Takeaways
- Loss prevention and bystander intervention are inconsistent in chaotic shoplifting scenarios, with on-site handling depending heavily on witness statements and immediate risk.
- Police restraint and procedure in the Walmart incident show heavy use of force from tasing to grappling, followed by transport, even as charges later appear uncertain.
- Body cam visibility and media narratives influence public perception of police conduct and accountability in retail crime stories.
- When suspects resist or flee, legal outcomes (like charges being dropped) can diverge dramatically from the apparent severity of the crime, highlighting courtroom discretion.
- The video raises questions about policy reforms, including deterrence strategies and accountability for judges and officers in retail crime cases.
- There’s a provocative stance on retail security measures and community safety, suggesting a hardline approach to shoplifting combined with calls for systemic change.
- The discussion also touches on broader political and ethical debates about crime, punishment, and judicial discretion, illustrating how retail incidents can become flashpoints for larger societal issues.

They just tell them whatever they need to hear. Man, I love it. These guys are real professionals. I'm smarter than this. Okay. I'll tell you that's the last time when my body gets intervened on behalf of an officer.
I'm intervening. Well, I'm glad you you had the intention. Have you guys noticed that ever since we had the introduction of body cams, there hasn't really been any of these horrible police murders of some innocent person that, you know, totally didn't deserve it. Have you guys noticed that? Like, maybe I've noticed that like it's cuz you used to have these. It was like once every six months or something, right? And now you don't have that. It never happens. It just went away. Not everybody's trying to help them out Screw that. And I couldn't The narrative crumbled.
It did. Don't get involved, sir. Don't get involved. It makes me wonder how many of the ones that we don't have body cams for were also [ __ ] Like how many of these was it actually the police officer that did everything right? But because you didn't have body cams, the media narrative was shifted. Probably a lot. Arm swing around going for that guy's gun. I said, "Fuck if I'm not going to get involved." I feel bad actually now that I didn't because I that I was standing right there. I mean, there's no reason why. Oh, you didisted in pinning him down.
You did more than sir. Got you. Sir, is there anything that hurts on you? Anything you know is injured? Bleeding? My head. Your elbow? your head. I wonder why. Anything hurt on you? I wonder why. It's probably a mystery. No. Nobody has any idea why. Chill the [ __ ] out. Well, then sit up. Sit up. [ __ ] hold on. My [ __ ] handle will stop you. [ __ ] [ __ ] Sit down. Got the second win now. If you want to act like a kid, that's cool. I'll treat you like a kid. Like a [ __ ] [ __ ] fool. Put your feet in.
Hold on, bro. My [ __ ] hands, you idiot. This is them walking out together at the same time. Just [ __ ] got him. Bro, can you imagine like how much of a satisfying sound that must be for a police officer? The sound of that door shutting where it's like, [ __ ] got him. right here. Okay. Cuz if it's felony, we can catharsis. I know. Yeah. As well. Then yes, cuz he was for sure on the lookout. All right. Yeah. Just make sure. Yeah. We include vitality getting packed up. Yeah. True. Sergeant and we'll see what we can do.
He's got five pills. Oh, yeah. Metro rocks and um several bits of powder. No way. We're waiting to get the final amount. See if it's felony or not all. So that's the reason why he was so like he was so resilient. This guy was buffed out of his mind. Get his name and I'll do links and tell 75207 was the total before taxes. 752 75207 still felony. Oh, there you go. I thought it had to be over a thousand. There we go. Finally catching my breath. All right, Jose. So, we're going to transport you to our station.
Okay. The tech are going to do their thing. I'll keep you updated on what's going on. Like I said, you're being looked into for the conspiracy. Why is it conspiracy though? Why is going on with them, the conspiring with them? But why is a conspiracy? Because you were conspiring. Even though I did not He's the one that ran out on his own. That That's where the detectives are and I paid. Hey, we'll say we we don't need to have this conversation because I'm only telling you what's going on. No, no, no, no. Oh my god.
I need to empty your pocket. Can I empty your pockets out? Yeah, go ahead. It don't matter, man. All right. My girlfriend, I'm going to the police headquarters. Yeah, we'll sell it for you. All right. I could reach in these pockets and empty everything up. Yeah, there's nothing. She's smarter than this, man. Like, I paid for my [ __ ] before he ran out on his own. You're so stupid. You know exactly what he was doing. You know it's empty right now. Wait, you're not going to Right. There's nothing in my unit back there. Yeah, I'll drop a ball coke.
Whatever it is. Okay. I'm just like that, bro. I like to keep people informed. No, no, no, no. Like I'm trying to I was take trying to take a trespass, but Okay, Jose. Yeah. Jesus, look at all that. Oh my god. This guy got four stacked. Wait, all charges for both men were dismissed. Wait, why? What's the damn point you're going to drop the charges? I know. This is insane. I I I I I What? How is this real? The bad the bad ending. Yes, this is like it's it I dude. Dude, there you got to do you got to do something about this, bro.
Like, we got to do something about these the these people. Like, uh yeah, look her up. It's a Karen. Oh, I bet it probably was. And uh yeah, I don't know if there's any way for me to find it, but yeah, it's probably a Karen that that made that decision. Absolutely incredible. And still no charges. Officers put at risk of severe bodily harm and no charges. [ __ ] I'm so sick of watching this happening at my store. I I have a solution to this. I do. People don't like it. They don't like the solution, but they will.
They will eventually. They're going to come around. They're going to come around and they're going to like the way that I solve it. They are. And uh they're Yeah, I think so. I I think by the way, you if somebody's shoplifting in your store and they're running out with your stuff, like the only reason that I don't think you should be able to shoot them and kill them is you might hit somebody else. Like morally I think you should be able to do that, but I just like you somebody else might get hit, right? And uh yeah, it's it I mean I I don't know what to say, but like yeah, it's just or if it's food maybe.
I mean I I know you can't have people stealing food. You you can't have that. I know that like maybe you've been you've been like scoped by like Twitter or something. There are like multiple different resources that people have that they can get food from the government or other charities. So if somebody's going to a Walmart stealing uh stealing food, they are doing that because they want to, not because they have to. There's food stamps. There is other supplemental insurance. There's food pantries. There are churches and mosques and synagogues that have this. There are secular charities that also provide food.
Like there are so many ways that you can get food if you need food. They don't need food. They are just stealing because they like stealing. That's it. And so get rid of Karen authority first. I would I would get rid of all these. What I would do is like if I found out that somebody was like letting people off for things like this, I would just wait till the person commits another crime and then charge the judge as an accomplice. I would because if you make a bad decision like that and somebody else gets hurt or something happens that's problematic, it was really your decision that made that happen.
And I think that really I think that's fair. I mean like why is it that you're able to do that and there's never like the problem and the reason why we have such lacks like judicial rules is because there are never any accountability measures. The moment that you apply accountability measures to the people inside of the judicial system for making biased and bad decisions is the moment that this goes away. Like that's it. A judge doesn't need to face consequences. They do. And and I I would put them in jail for like pretty much their whole lives.
I I would um and I would do it like um I do it in like waves, right? So like I would do like, you know, maybe five or 10 of them at the same time and then like it's like, okay, well this, you know, maybe this stops everybody from doing it, but then if that didn't work, you need to do it again. I I I wish the Republicans and conservatives had more of my mindset on this. But unfortunately, they're too trapped inside of a prison that was created by their enemies in terms of an ideology that has been preventing them from being able to solve this problem and make the world a better place.
So, it's unfortunate to be that happen. He didn't want to change the demographics of prisons. Well, I don't know about that, but uh yeah, that's it. Why is it that just the judge's fault? The lawmakers gave the judge discretion whenever they wrote the law. Well, I mean, because discretion should be used in a in a good way. And and if it's not, then the judge shouldn't be a judge, right? I mean, it's pretty simple.
