Seven surprisingly simple, faceless YouTube channels quietly pull six figures yearly, proving consistency and smart monetization beat hype.
Summary
Shane Hummus breaks down seven unconventional, low-friction channels that coin six figures annually without showing faces. He kicks off with a reminder that success isn’t about groundbreaking ideas, but consistent, well-executed concepts like door-cam fails and stray-cat compilations. The video highlights air-tight monetization and cross-platform syndication as key growth levers, not just ad revenue. Channels range from time-lapse curiosities (Photo Owl Time Lapse) to quirky challenge games (Banana Biceps) and even miniature Hot Wheels cinema (Five Mad Movie Makers), each earning substantial monthly revenue. Shane underscores the value of a hybrid personal brand—using an avatar or eventual face reveal—to enhance trust and monetization, citing Wiz of Ecom’s journey as a template. He also emphasizes niche down strategies (Doorbell Fails, Stray Paws Clips) to stand out amid saturated categories. Visuals and examples illustrate how tiny audiences can scale with smart monetization, syndication, and product moves like selling toys or courses. Finally, Shane invites viewers to a free live workshop with an AI-assisted niche validator to jumpstart their own six-figure channel journey, promising actionable steps and live Q&A. This isn’t about overnight fame; it’s about scalable systems that turn simple ideas into solid income streams.
Key Takeaways
- Doorbell Fails shows the power of niching down: a highly specific compilation channel can outperform broader formats when paired with consistency.
- Five Mad Movie Makers earned an extraordinary $821,000 from a three-minute Hot Wheels video, illustrating how unique, simple concepts can scale massively.
- Hybrid personal brand methods—using avatars or later face reveals—can boost monetization and make it easier to sell the channel later.
- Cross-platform syndication is a repeatable multiplier: content first on YouTube, then automatically republished elsewhere to double or triple yields.
- Educational content with problem-solving value generally monetizes more effectively than pure entertainment, according to Shane Hummus’s monetization observations.
- The narrator demonstrates how even fresh, two-month-old channels (Banana Biceps) can reach tens of thousands monthly with the right format and monetization mix.
- Niche selection and branding groundwork set the stage for long-term growth and easier scale, especially when combined with a niche validator AI tool.

You might think that YouTube success requires a unique idea, something that nobody's ever done before, something groundbreaking, right? Wrong. A channel compiling door camera fails makes $8,000 a month. Someone filming stray cats earns $10,000 a month. And a guy making Hot Wheels tracks pulls in $260,000 a month. These are not unique ideas. They're basic concepts executed consistently and correctly. Today, I have seven weird but basic channels making six figures a year. No hype, just proof. If you like this type of content, gently tap that like button. Let's jump into it right now. However, a quick disclaimer before we jump in.
I'm always going to be brutally honest with you. Most YouTube channels don't work out, and that's just reality, just like any other type of business out there. There are no guarantees here, and you should always do your own research. And that's exactly why I make these videos, but more than that, I go above and beyond. It's why I'm going to be running a one-time live workshop with an extensive Q&A session, and it's going to be this week. Click the link in the description and the pin comment below to check it out. We're going to help you pick your niche, including an AI that specializes in doing this, come up with video ideas, monetize your channel, and we're going to give you a step-by-step solution to actually having success on YouTube.
Plus, at the end, we're going to do a Q&A session. It's going to be like a Zoom call. You can literally ask me any questions you want, and you can access all of it just by clicking the link in the description and the pin comment below. But with that being said, let's jump into it right now with the first one on the list, which is Photo Owl Time Lapse. So, this channel is exactly what it sounds like. It is a time lapse channel, and it's basically what happens if you just leave a watermelon there, or what happens when an apple stays underwater for a year, or how long can a McDonald's paper cup hold liquid, or how long does it take a Carolina Reaper to get eaten by mealworms, or what happens to a cigarette when it's in soil.
Just weird and easy to do time lapse videos. And they're making five to $15,000 a month. And this video right here, for instance, Pear Time Lapse, got 34 million views and made over $49,000. Now, it looks like they are monetizing in other ways. They've got some members-only content. They've got a Discord. They've got some links on their channel. And it looks like they're also syndicating their content to other platforms. So, they're probably making their content for YouTube, but then they syndicate that content out in an automated or relatively automated way to other platforms, and they make double or even triple the amount of money.
So, I'm sure they're making a lot more than just this amount. These amounts are also usually extremely underestimated. For instance, on my account, there were months where, you know, some of these tools thought we were making 10 or 20,000 a month from AdSense when in reality we made 50 to 70,000 a month. Now, the truth is, I've worked with lots of successful YouTubers and helped them become more successful, and most of these YouTube channels are terrible at monetizing their content. They have no idea how to monetize correctly. We've helped channels 10x, even 20x the amount of money they're making with the same exact amount of views.
But the easiest way to do it is just to set your channel up right from the beginning, and again, that's why you should check out the live training that I'm doing this week. Click the link in the description and the pin comment below. All right, quick break. I'm hanging out with my brother Zach right now. He's not a tech guy at all, and he made $214 in a single day on YouTube. And I just wanted to let you know that this week we are hosting a free live one-time workshop. So, one thing that people struggle with the most is finding their niche, and that is why we actually created an AI called the Niche Validator that's going to help you find your niche or help you dial in your niche if you already have one.
And we're going to be giving away this Niche Validator this week at a live workshop. And it's called How to Finally Make Money from youtube.com in 2026. If you're struggling to find your niche or you don't want to commit months or even years to a niche that ends up not being profitable, then this is for you. So, click the link in the description and the pin comment below. Once you register, hit add to calendar so it shows up on your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar. And if for whatever reason you're watching this in the future, still check the link in the description and the pin comment below cuz we may be doing another live workshop in the future, and it'll tell you when.
Now, you'll also be able to ask me questions live, so I look forward to meeting you. And you'll also get an update on how this guy is doing on YouTube as well. So, see this week, and back to your regularly scheduled programming. All right, next channel is Banana Biceps. And this channel hosts simple, repeatable challenge games. And I can't emphasize how simple these games are, and honestly, how easy it is to make these types of videos as well. I mean, you could literally make something like this with AI probably at this point, and it would look very similar to these videos.
And they're making 27 to $81,000 a month. Oh, and this channel is super new as well. They're only about 2 months old. You know, this is a relatively new concept. A lot of people are getting into these interactive videos. I think as time goes on, social media is going to become more and more interactive, so it's almost going to be like a video where you can choose different things during the video. But yeah, I mean, I don't even know what to say about this channel. This is dead simple, and they're making a ton of money with it.
I am showing you a bunch of faceless channels. You do not need to show your face to do these channels, and you could also consider a lot of these YouTube automation channels as well cuz you could easily just hire other people to do them, or have AI do most of the work, etc. With that being said, there is one particular way that I recommend doing faceless channels that's much, much better than any other way because it gives you a lot of options in the future, and it makes it much easier to monetize these channels. There's a big mistake that I see a lot of people making where they actually don't do this.
Now, basically what this way is is you want to make sure that if you're doing a faceless channel, you have an avatar that represents you, just like Wiz of Ecom. So, Wiz, when he first started his channel, you'll see it was all faceless, and he just had this avatar that represented him. And usually it didn't even move or anything like that. It's just a static image. You can easily make this on ChatGPT or something like that. But basically, this is an animated character that represented him, and because of that, people actually felt like he was a personal brand, like it was a real human being on the other side of the camera, and they were much more likely to know, like, and trust him and buy his stuff.
So, he was actually able to scale this channel and his personal brand to a seven-figure business. Then eventually, he did a face reveal. This was his face reveal video right here, and the channel continued to do extremely well. Let's cut the suspense. Hello, hello, everybody. My name is Mubu. So, this is a channel that doesn't get that many views, right? If you were to look at it, you'd probably be like, "Wow, he's not getting that many views." He's never really gotten that many views on his channel, but he's still crushing it. And the reason is because he properly monetized the channel.
Now, this is actually one of my clients. I helped him to crush it on YouTube, and he said that basically almost all the people who bought his stuff watched his YouTube at one point or another. So, he was either directly or indirectly making all of his money from YouTube. And now he has a multiple seven-figure business where he's absolutely crushing it. So, there's more to it than this. This is something I'll get into. I call this the hybrid personal brand method. So, whether you're actually going to show your face or you're going to use an avatar like this, there's a particular method for making your channel that makes it to where you can just monetize it way more easily, and you have the option in the future to reveal your face or not to reveal your face, and that's something I will be going over in the live training.
It's very important that you do things this way. It also makes it easier to sell your channel, too, later on down the line. So, click the link in the description and the pin comment below to make sure that you follow that. And by the way, I should mention that typically, I also recommend making educational content that actually solves other people's problems because it's just easier to monetize with that. All right, next channel is Laugh Trapped. This channel makes 8 to $24,000 a month, and it's basically just showing a bunch of weird, funny videos, and it's kind of like a compilation of those types of videos.
And basically, it's a try not to laugh, you laugh, you lose type video, where it shows a bunch of funny clips, and it challenges you to not laugh. [laughter] And the channel is making a ton of money. According to View Stats, they're doing about 12 to $34,000 a month, so even more than what it says on VidIQ. And it is brain dead simple, brain rot type content. But the problem with this channel is it's probably very difficult to monetize beyond the views. And honestly, I would feel weird having a channel like this because it's just brain rot.
It doesn't really give any value to society. But I mean, they are making a good amount of money. I would say that these entertainment type channels usually have way more competition as well. It's a lot harder to grow these types of channels. However, here's a channel that is kind of a compilation channel that does, in my opinion, actually give value to society, and that's Grind Buddy. So, Grind Buddy, you know, their banner says, "Let's show the world that potential inside of you." And they basically go over a lot of these speeches from a lot of the greats, people that are really good at motivating and teaching from the past, like Jim Rohn, etc.
And it's literally just clips from them from the past. Believe it or not, this channel is making six to $17,000 a month, which is pretty wild. Now, for instance, this video right here, How to Get Whatever You Want, they made $12,000 just from one video. What does ask mean? Ask means, "What do you want?" And they barely even upload on this account as well. So, yeah, this channel is crushing it, and they're putting out really good content as well. Now, the next channel is a little bit more artistic. So, this channel might be for the more artistic people out there.
And that is Five Mad Movie Makers. Now, this The owners of this channel are mad about movie making, and they like to make miniature movies using Hot Wheels. So, for instance, their most popular video is Hot Wheels Water Ride. It's a 3-minute video. It got 164 million views, and it made $821,000. Just strapping a little miniature camera onto their Hot Wheels, and then uploading that to the internet made $821,000. That's enough for some people to retire, and they made that by strapping a miniature camera to a Hot Wheels and recording it and then uploading it to the internet.
That's it. Oh, and the channel makes 74 to 223,000 dollars a month and that's according to VidIQ. According to ViewStats, they make 101 to 282,000 dollars a month. So, yeah, they're absolutely crushing it. They've got 2.5 billion views and it is the definition of simple. And it looks like they're also posting on other platforms. So, they post on Facebook and other platforms. So, that's a really smart thing to do is to just automatically syndicate your content to other platforms. So, you usually have a mother platform and of course the one that makes the most sense is YouTube because YouTube makes the most money by far, but then you syndicate that content in an automated or semi-automated way to the other platforms and a lot of the time you can make twice as much money doing that.
And then additionally, they sell things like toys on their website. So, they are probably monetizing this channel quite a bit more than just AdSense alone. And that's not to mention other monetization methods such as sponsorships, etc. too. With that being said, I think they could be monetizing this channel even better. Think they're probably leaving a lot of money on the table. Maybe that's their choice. Maybe they'd rather be monetizing better and that's something I specialize in helping people do cuz there are YouTubers that typically they're just really bad at monetizing. So, again, attend the live training link in the description and the pin comment below if that's something that interests you.
All right, next channel is a brand new channel and that is Doorbell Fails. So, basically all of their videos are weird things that happened with doorbells. So, doorbells capturing really weird videos of people and they're mostly compilations of that. Like for instance, porch pirates versus glitter bombs. Basically, people that are trying to steal packages and they get owned mostly. Like basically, that's the best way of saying it. And this channel basically just started recently and they're making over three to 9,000 dollars a month. Now, the smart thing about this channel and I don't recommend typically doing channels like this cuz it's just so easy to copy their content, but the smart thing about this channel is there's lots of channels out there that do these compilation type videos, but this one specializes in doorbell videos.
And this is all about niching down correctly, which is something I'm going to be covering in my live training. That's very important to pick the right niche. I'm also giving away an AI that helps you pick the ideal niche for you. So, click the link in the attend that. But yeah, that's one of the reasons I wanted to show this one just to show you the power of niching down because I guarantee you if a channel like this just started out of the blue with videos like this and they didn't niche down, they would not get very many views because there's a ton of compilation channels.
So, the next channel is another example of the power of niching down and we all know that the internet loves cat videos, right? I think we all know how much the internet loves watching cat videos, but this is a very specific type of cat video which is Stray Paws Clips. And it's exactly what it sounds like. It's basically clips from stray cats. And within these clips, they usually tell stories and they do updates on the cats that they run into in the clips. And so, people will continue watching the channel just to see updates on these cats.
And the channel's making about three to 8,000 dollars a month. Now again, the cat clip saturation curve of channels is pretty high. Like there's a lot of saturation in that niche. That's one of the original types of videos that the internet loved is, you know, videos of cats and animals and stuff. But this channel has managed to basically carve themselves out a piece of that niche by simply niching down and covering stray cats and then also continuing to tell their story throughout time, which makes them unique and different than every other channel. And it makes people come back again and again and it makes more people want to watch the channel.
And that is super important and that's why it's crucial to actually pick your niche the right way and set up your niche in the right way when you're making your channel from the beginning so that you have good foundations that you can build a building on top of. And that is something I'm going to be covering in the live training. So, do not miss out on it. I even give an AI away that makes this extremely easy. So, definitely do not miss out on that. Now, additionally, the live training is completely free, but I do have a coaching program where we do work one-on-one with people to help them grow their channel.
We have tons of testimonials. We've gotten more people results than anybody else. We've helped our clients generate over a hundred million dollars in revenue. And here are the types of people we work with. YouTubers who are crushing it and they want to crush it even harder. YouTubers that are getting a lot of views, but they're struggling with monetization. Business owners that are crushing it, but they want to use YouTube to get more leads, build their brand, get more views, etc. or help their other marketing methods out because YouTube does do that. Or in some cases, literally just replace their ad spend like what happened with Isaiah.
Or people who are beginners at YouTube, but they really want to treat it seriously. They're serious people who want to treat it seriously. They don't want to treat YouTube like a hobby and they want to treat it like a business, treat it like a pro and they want to start now and get results. So, if you're one of those four types of people, go ahead, apply for a call, click the link in the description and the pin comment below to do that. Or if it's not in the pin comment, it'll be in the about section of my channel.
Now, we are super picky about who we work with. We only accept about 18% of the people who apply. So, make sure you watch the video, you also fill out the questions and then you watch any video and follow all the instructions that we send you before you get on the call. If you don't do any of these, it'll probably lead to immediate disqualification. And we do this because we want to make sure that we can help you to get results. So, click that link in the description if that sounds like you. And also check out this video right here where I talk about how we were able to help Isaiah.
And he went from giving all of his money to Mark Zuckerberg with Facebook ads to completely shutting off his ads and going full-time on YouTube.
