So, yesterday, quite late last night, I think it was, because I didn't actually notice it until probably 1:00 a.m. this morning, Alibaba dropped Quen 3.6 Plus preview at free. This is a currently free model. If you've ever wanted to build anything completely for free, now is your chance because you do not have to pay for this model. Now, another idea I had for this model, which I'll probably do tomorrow or later today, depending on how well this video does, is basically making a complete SAS project for free using the Quen model. But for now, what I did was I just ran it with my normal school community prompt, which I'll show you in just a second. But cool thing is this is 1 million context. It's completely free, and it says that it's an improvement on Alibaba 3.5 or Quinn 3.5. And I have to say it is a significant improvement. So if I just go to my school community here and just go to classroom and then go to all my prompts and workflows, it's this prompt right here which creates a service-based website. I have a few other tests to run with this model. But overall, let's see the result. So like I showed you at the beginning of the video, this is one of the best results I've ever seen from this prompt. Now, if you're wondering how I actually did this, it was using Open Code. I have to say guys, Open Code gets more and more impressive every time I use it. I do absolutely love Open Code. If they randomly made Claude Code like 10,000 a month, I would probably start using Open Code instead just because it is very very close to Claude. So, let's just see how it did this. It basically made a really detailed plan. It was very quick as well, I have to say. So, let me just show you. So, there's It took 20 minutes, which is amazing. There's an issue with the services that are 404ing in. Yeah. So, just watch how quick this actually is. Or it was last night. It might not be this morning cuz more people are using it. It's a bit of a shame. It was instant last night. Like it it was so fast and now obviously it's slowed down. It's it's actually classic. It's kind of annoying that, but it is what it is. It happens. I guess a lot more people are currently using this model completely for free. So last night when I looked I think it was like there there was like a million tokens used. So let me guess it's like a billion now at least. Oh my god. 20 billion is crazy. Okay, so I forgive Alibaba for uh being slightly slower this morning. Once it's on local computers and things like that, that'll be very very interesting to see. But yeah, guys, overall the quality of this site is probably one of the best I've ever seen. It's definitely the best I've seen from an open, not even an open source model, from a Chinese model. Um there we go. It's no longer 404ing, it looks like. Um, and yeah, just insane step forward for the Quen models. This normally means if Quen gets better, then GLM gets better, Mini Maxs get better. They're all connected in some way.
