Hosts introduce the game and set up the goal of experiencing Security Breach and its setting.

Markiplier’s mom tackles Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, turning chaos into laughs while stumbling through the Mega Pizza Plex with a controller and a lot of heart.

Summary

In Markiplier’s latest playful chaos, his mom dives into Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, the bold, real-time entry in the FNAF series set in a sprawling Mega Pizza Plex. The video leans into the comedy of errors as she learns the controls, guided by Mark’s playful coaching and her own curiosity. We hear candid moments about what’s scary versus flashy, with her mom-daughter banter keeping the mood light amid jumpscares and maze-like corridors. Mark discusses the game’s 2021 release date and its difference from the camera-only entries, highlighting the roam-and-survive vibe in a large open area. Throughout, Freddy the animatronic ally becomes both a helper and a source of comic relief as they navigate doors, vents, and “stair boss” moments that prove tougher than expected. The duo also foregrounds accessibility challenges—like misreading controller layouts and muscle-memory gaps—turning the playthrough into a relatable, endearing session. Expect plenty of meta humor, occasional missteps, and lots of encouragement as they bumble toward progress and pinpoint the game’s more polished visuals and color. The stream ends with a playful tease about a related book project and a wink to fans awaiting more holiday-style content. Overall, the video blends affection, family dynamics, and game talk into a relatable, choose-your-own-adventure vibe.

Key Takeaways

  • Security Breach offers a large, navigable space (the Mega Pizza Plex) that contrasts with earlier, camera-only FNAF games.
  • Controller play is strongly recommended over mouse/keyboard for first-timers, due to the real-time movement and camera control requirements.
  • The mom’s learning curve highlights common accessibility hurdles in modern games, especially for players without established muscle memory.
  • Freddy acts as both mentor and obstacle, helping traversal while introducing new interactions (e.g., riding in Freddy, first-aid stations).
  • Players encounter a “stair boss” sequence that exemplifies how even simple navigation can become surprisingly challenging on a new control scheme.
  • The dialogue and improv between Markiplier and his mom create a warm, humorous overlay that makes a stressful game more approachable for a general audience.
  • The video closes with a playful plug for a related North Korea fundraising/book project, signaling a broader, community-focused angle beyond the game itself.

You don't know what this is and there is no link in the description. Don't even bother looking. Yeah, don't look at Don't worry about This is about the game. We about the game. Yes. Okay. So, security breach is not like the others in that you're actually moving around in the space in real time, right? So, the other ones you're just looking at cameras. In this one, you're moving around the mega pizzalex as they call it. What year was this developed? This was uh 2018 I believe. I don't even remember when it was. 2019 18. If they have give a chance, just believe mommy mommy ply wrote it must be quite interesting story. As much as maybe Freddy trying to get out of there, we shall find out. We shall find. Now, I don't think they've told you how to jump right here. I'm jumping. I'm jumping. Oh, here we go. You press A to jump. A to jump. Right. A to jump. I did. I did. You got to close the instruction. Oh. X X hole. Okay. And now while pressing forward, press the A button. That's looking up. You want to This is always the movement one. Your left thumb is move. Hold forward. Press A. A. Good. Press it again. Okay. You got You fell. All right. Hold on. Why am I so short? Why am I so short? You fell. You fell in a gap. Okay, so I got it. I got it. Hold. Stop. Stop. Stop. Don't move. Don't move. Don't move. Don't do anything. I'm not moving. Look down. Look. NO. NO. NO. NO. GOD. [screaming] SORRY. Did I do something wrong? Yes. You fell. You just undid all your progress. All right. Remember, right is look, [clears throat] left is move. Okay. Look, move. Look, move. Okay. Look. So, look down. Okay. Look down. Look. Nope. Down. Oh my god. No. No. I'm just saying look down as in use your look thumb and press down on it. Little more. Little more. Little more. Little more. Okay. A little more. Little more. Okay. Stop. Okay. Okay. Now move to that box. Left. Yeah. Left is move. Move. Okay. Go right just a touch. Okay. Right. A little more. A little more. Right. Okay. Now press forward and A. You're going No. No. Don't Don't touch the look. Don't touch the look at all. forward and press A. Forward. A A. Okay. Okay. You're drifting. Go right a bit. Move right. Yep. Yep. Keep going. I think I see something. Right. Right. Right. Right. Forward and A. One more time. Forward and A. Uh. Turn left. Turn left. Turn left. Look left. Right. Look right. Look. Look. Look. Right. Look. Right. Thumb. Look. Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. Forward. Okay, there we go. Okay, stop. Stop now. Okay, this is I I want you to know you are not crazy in that this is difficult because I've been playing games so long that this is muscle memory, right? So, most of the time in controller schemes, the controls are the same, but you don't have any of that muscle memory. So, you should not feel bad about this. This is the basics of movement, but game developers sometimes assume that you know what you're doing. And so you're a prime example of someone who does not know any of the base knowledge. So there's a lot that's lost for you that you should not feel bad about because there's been years of building up even this experience. And it's why games can sometimes feel hard to get into because there's so much that's assumed that you know, right? Even looking and moving that coordinated movement can be difficult. Now, this next one is even more difficult because there's a lot of buttons to press and there's a lot of combinations to press and it all has to be secondary. Keyboard's harder because there's even more buttons, right? You know, this looking one. If you press it, you'll crouch, right? So, watch. You'll go down. So, pressing it goes down. Now, this is difficult for you because you have to press without moving it. Otherwise, you're going to start turning and you know because it won't stop you if you're doing one. So, you press in to go down and then while that's pressed, you would go forward to go forward, So, I want you to try that. You're going to press on that and then move forward. Easy. You got it. Easy. Now, you have the basics of all the movement that you're going to need. That's it. So, you're in these vents, right? So, you're going to want to turn and look and move as you're going there. So, this is where you're building the muscle memory of moving and looking. So, with your left, you're moving. To the right, you're looking, right? So, if the right stick, you can look to the right. So, you see where you're going. You don't want to go, you don't want to move without knowing where you're going because you could fall in a hole and die, right? So, turn. Good. Good. Very good. Very good. Very good. Very good. Right. This is good. And then Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then left. Look left. Look left. You're looking right. You're looking right. You're You're looking right. You're drifting. Looking right. You need to look left. Right thumb. Right thumb. Move left. Right thumb. Right thumb. Move left. Up. Okay. Move forward. Left thumb forward. Left thumb forward. Forward. Yeah, I got it. I got it. Okay. Now I need to go turn left. You need to go forward. Left thumb forward. How? This way. No, I'm going up. Left thumb forward. No, that's the right. That's your right. Oh. Oh. Forward. Left thumb for Yeah. Yeah. Left thumb forward. Left thumb forward. Okay. Turn left. Look. Right thumb left. Right thumb. Right thumb left. Push left. There we go. No. No. Oh. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. You're spinning. Right. Right. And up and left, left, left. Ah, right there. Okay. Who is she? [laughter] That's what I was trying to tell you. You remember from the intro? She's uh [sighs] not Chica. No, not Chica. She's She look different. Starts with an R. Roxy. Yeah, Yeah, Roxy. She look like a Roxy. Yeah, Roxy. Yeah. Roxy the Wolf. Roxy the Wolf. Okay. I think cuz there's Foxy from the original game. You remember Foxy? So, this is Roxy, the replacement. Oh, what happened to Foxy? Foxy caused a lot of problems. Okay. Got fired. Not that Roxy didn't cause a lot of problems, but you don't know that yet. Maybe. So, we're going to be retired. Okay. So, are you getting the hang of like the controls? Yeah, a little bit. It's tricky. It is looking and moving. It's two separate actions in in controllers, but you got to start to meld them together. Remember, this is always going to move forward, right? No matter where you're looking, it's going to move forward. This is always going to move left and right, left and right. So, it really matters where you're looking. So, this is sometimes more important than this because if you're moving with without the idea that you're always going to be going forward where towards where you're looking, if you move this one, this one steers you, right? So, like once I'm looking at you, Roxy. Yeah. So, think of this like an accelerator in a car, right? The gas pedal is on the left here and this is the steering wheel, right? So, your gas moves forward and then your steering wheel turns left and right. Except in this it's just a stick. So you go left and right to look and then up and down to look up. Yeah. Gotcha. Gotcha. So you need to turn around uh with this one. Yes. Exactly. Which way? Right or left? Doesn't matter. You just need to turn around. Both. Both will get you there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, turn around. You turned around. Yeah. Now, you always want to make sure you're looking kind of straight at the horizon, Okay. Am I You're You're looking at the ground. Am I? So, look up. Right thumb. Straight forward. Yes. That's great. I got the view. So, there's a there's a path here on the So, you just need to move forward forward with the movement one. Yes. The gas pedal. Gas pedal move. And then turn right with your steering wheel. Turn to the right. Turn right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Why am I going to turn right? It's what you want to do. That's perfect. Keep going. Turn right. Turn Turn right. Yep. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. And go forward. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. That's it. You're getting it. You're getting it. You're going quite slow, but you're getting it. So, another branch. You need to go forward and turn left. Same thing. Yeah. Yeah. Gas pedal. Am I going? You're not going. Gas pedal. This one. Yeah. Yeah. That one. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. And gas. Gas. Gas. Gas. Gas. Left. Gas. Oh. Oh. See, you you didn't go forward enough, so you just walked into a wall, So, forward. Forward. Forward. Forward. Look. Left. Steering wheel. Left. Left. Look. And then forward. Gas. Gas. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep keep going. Still. Pull through the wall. Keep going. And now turn right. Steering wheel right. Oh, okay. See? See? You need to make these turns, So, aim your head. Turn your head a little more right and then go straight that way. Don't Don't run into the stuff. This is good. This is good. This is progress. There we go. Turn left. Steering left. Oh, that's fine. Yeah, you're good. Go for it. Gas. You need to steer a little right. Steer right. You you you go to the correct right and then you compensate right back to where you were left. So, you need to just trust your instincts and stay right. Your first instincts. Right. Now, go forward. Now, turn right. Turn right. Oh, you turned left. Oh, turn right. Yes. What? Mother, what hand is what hand is this? What is this? So, you're facing the wrong way. Okay. Just just say right over left. You can't turn around with the gas pedal. Remember, can you turn with the gas pedal? No. You have to turn with the steering Steering wheel. Yeah. Right. Turn around. Make a U-turn. Like that. No, that's looking down. When you're driving a car, do you look down? No, you turn right. So, you want to go left or right? Either way. So, keep pressing the right stick and either left or right until you turn around. It'll keep moving so long as you're pressing the stick. You don't need to go up. You don't need to go down. You just need to go left or right all the way Wow. Hold pause. I cannot go. I don't What? What is stopping you here from going? Because this is Look, you don't need to touch this. When I say turn around, what's what are you thinking? Yeah. So, you would just press left, Left. Okay. Okay. So, press left. Yep. But I have to go a little farther. No. No. That's where you came from. Remember, you backed into here. You need to turn around. Oh, I backed into here. You backed into this. So, I need to come this way. Yes, you need to turn around. How can I turn around? I have no idea. What do you mean? How? Wait, hold on. Hold on. Pause. Why can't I turn around? Why can't you turn around? Show me. How do you turn around? This is the look stick, right? This is your steering wheel. If you were turning a car around, you would just keep going that way until you turn around, right? Uh-huh. Oh, I need to go back around. That's Well, that's turn around. You're not GOING THAT WAY. NO, YOU CAME FROM THAT WAY. [laughter] YOU'RE GOING THIS WAY. I KEPT SAYING TURN AROUND. NO, TURN AROUND. OKAY. WHAT IS NO, I'm going to point you back in this direction and you're going to Okay. Okay. I said you turn. You turn like that. Yeah. Well, you're looking at the ground, so you'll you'll have no idea where you are. You don't need gas pedal. And up. And Okay. Too far. Turn right, right up, up slightly. Very here, I'm actually going to turn down your sensitivity. I think that might be hurting you a bit. We're going to go really slow for you. Apply. All right. So, now the move the looking is much slower, right? So, this will be easier because you don't need to like fine-tune the controls. So, you want to go towards the red. So, you need to go forward, then look left. Forward is this one, right? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And left. Oh, I see. Great. I see. Too much left. Too too far left. You're looking here. This is the center of your screen. So, you're looking at a wall. Your character is looking at a wall, That's better. Okay. Center is here in line with that. So, now you're looking down that. Now, you can move forward with confidence that you're pointed in the right direction. Like that. Yep. Just keep moving forward. Full speed forward. Full speed forward. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. And what the hell is that? It doesn't matter. It's just decoration. Oh, decoration. And where are going? Where are Where do you think what do you see? Uh the door. Yeah. So, go there. Okay. Here. Uh-huh. Good. Good. Very good. Very good. Go forward. Okay. Turn. Uh-huh. Turn. Very good. You're doing great. This is good. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Very good. I think I'm hearing some rock music. Maybe start to hear. [laughter] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Keep going and turn left. Right. Yes. You turn right. Turn right. Turn right. This one. Very good. Okay. Excellent. Okay. You're getting it. You're breathing. Turn left. Turn left. Turn left. Absolutely. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Yes. Yes. Yes. Remember the the gas pedal doesn't turn. So the left is only your gas pedal. Only the steering wheel on the right. Right is turn. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. This one, right? Yes. Very good. Turn. Turn. Turn. H. A little bit more. And turn a little bit more. And then turn. Turn. Turn. Right. Act. Yeah. You keep you keep undoing your work, right? Okay. Okay. I'm turning. I'm turning. I'm turning. And forward. Four. Right here. Yep. Yep. Yep. And then And which way? I think it's right or left. Up to you. Ah, I left. I'm Am I looking for um um Who am I looking for? You're not looking for anybody. You're just trying to escape. Oh, just escape. Yeah, just escape. And look, look, look, look up. Look up. Look up. Look up. Look up. Look up. Yeah. So, what does that look like? Uh uh uh. Outside. Yeah. Freedom. Go. I I'm free. Not yet. Uh, will I be free? Yay. Thank you. All right. All right. Now, please make your way to the front of the building and you can finally get out. I will see you again soon. Maybe not. Sayonara. I'm I'm getting hell out of here. [laughter] Yeah. Get the hell out of there. So, just keep going till you get out the door and then Yes. Let me get hell out of here. Mhm. [laughter] Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. What is this way? Oh, which way? Not that way. Got D. Turn around. This way, right? No, no, not that way. That's just a stage. Okay. Turning. Okay. Yeah, it sometimes helps when you first get to a new area to look all around so you can get your bearings so you see where you are in space. Like if you'd have looked right when you dropped down, you would have seen this big path. Very good. Very good. That's one. No, don't worry about that. Keep going. Yep. Very good. Very good. I want to get out of here. Yep. Keep going. Imagine you're in the real building like this and you you just keep going the path, right? So, keep going the path. It's a lot of thing. Turn this way. Yes. Very good. Very good. That's a lot of rooms. I know. I know. It's a big place. It's the mega pizza. Oh, yeah. You didn't notice, Freddy, did you? Right there. Oh, I do. [laughter] Yeah, he is right there, isn't he? All right. Look around. Look where you're Try not to walk in a direction you're not seeing. You're not seeing where you're going. You need to turn with the steering wheel. With the steering wheel. No, I got it. I got it. Is a way. No, this is the way. This is the way. Go that way. Right here. Not there. It's a big door. Very large. Okay, Keep going. Now you'll need to crouch under it. It's Oh, your head's bonking on the door. I know. How can I crouch? Press this button. Yeah. And move forward. Forward.
