NEW Muppets Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Vlog! First look at what's new at Disney World this summer!

Are you guys ready for a fun Disney vlog? You better be because we are here celebrating the launch of the brand new Muppets Roller Coaster. And I'm about to ride it for the first time. The ride officially opens on May 26th. So, if you are at Disney, be sure to check it out. I am so excited. Here it is. Oh my goodness, it looks so cool. You might remember that this used to be Aerosmith themed and I wrote it last year and now here we are a year later and it's officially Muppets. Now, on the ride there's five different covers by the Electric Mayhem. So, you need to ride this more than once. And not only are there different songs, but they also have a few different characters that'll pop up in the pre-show. Uh, Electric Mayhem, we should really be heading to your concert. WE'RE ALREADY VERY LATE. WA! LOOK AT ALL THE LOOKALOOES. OH, HEY, THE VIP tour. Welcome everyone. We're having a big Here we go. So excited. 3 2 1 jump. It wasn't easy. But nothing else. Yay. I know that song, too. Oh, this was so fun. Oh my gosh. Okay, I have tears in my eyes. That was so much fun. The new ride is incredible. And now we are in the store. Unfortunately though, because the store isn't officially open yet, we can't buy anything. But there is so much cool stuff. So, I'm going to need to come back. Let's check out some of the cool things they have. T-shirts, plushies, water bottles. So, I'm hanging out here with Justin now. You are the creative director on this ride, correct? I am. Yes. So, what is that like for you kind of coming in and completely reimagining something that was so iconic, making it even more iconic? It was a dream come true, especially working with the Muppets. I grew up with the Muppets and so to have a chance to work with them on this project was nothing short of amazing. And what's it like to see everyone kind of coming in seeing the fans and how incredible it turned out? It's been actually one of the most fun parts of the project, seeing the work pay off. Guests uh are are picking up on the little bits and pieces that we've kind of left that celebrate Muppet Vision 3D and also celebrate the Muppets as a whole. My favorite Easter egg in the gravity box is Pizza Rizzo. So pizza Rizzo is there. You fly by pretty fast, but that's the nature of the ride. That was so much fun. Oh my goodness. Uh, reride. Welcome to Rock and Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets. Thank you so much. So you're the creative director for the Muppets. Like what all goes into that? Oh my gosh. We wear many hats at the Muppet Studio. So on this attraction in particular, I helped with a lot of the graphics with the logo and I even provided some of the designs for the merchandise in their store. Speaking of the merchandise, there is so much new stuff here. So, talk about how you decide which merchandise you're going to put in. Well, thankfully the geniuses at Walt Disney World sort of figure out what the assortment is. I just get the gift of drawing the pictures. What was your favorite one to draw? Or do you not want to choose favorite? Oh my gosh. No. The Muppets are incredibly hard to draw for anybody that's an artist at home. They are very intricate to capture effectively, but I do love drawing Fuzzy cuz he's got all of his fluff. That's so fun. Now going into the roller coaster when people are coming in, what are some specific pieces that they should look for that you have touched and put your blessing on? One of my favorite things is uh this attraction had been stamped with the GeForce Records logo from the classic Rock and Roller Coaster. So much so that it was like baked into the architecture. So we leaned into that and it really amplified the storyline of GeForce Records. So, as you're going through the queue, you'll see all sorts of records that show the history of the Muppets recording in the space and sort of the timeline of uh their history of music inside the recording studio. So, obviously we have the coaster. What other things can we expect from the Muppets this year? Yeah, so we launched the Muppet Show special in February on Disney Plus, which we're so excited for. We are headed to the FIFA World Cup this summer. So, we are doing a little bit of everything in the Muppet studio. And what I love about this amazing team of humans is that we're ready for anything. And you know what? We may see them at the Game Awards this year. Oh my gosh, we would love to. We would love to be back if they'll have us. I hope they will. Awesome. Thank you so much. I can't wait. I GOT TO GO RIDE AGAIN. SO, BYE. I have ridden this ride so many times. My brain is absolutely scrambled. And there is still one song that I haven't got to hear yet. But the good news is tonight there's a party where the Muppet Mayhem is actually performing live and the ride will be open. So, I'm going to go take a break and then come back to the show and ride some more. Here we go. Okay, folks. THE TIME HAS COME. IT'S THE MOMENT, YES, you've all been waiting for. And they're almost never this punctual. So, PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER for the electric mayhem. Oh, to be to be happy. Oh, wow. Feel like there's so many of our friends from the roller coaster here tonight. Oh, look. There's Darren Chris. Stamos drum. Oh, I'm flattered. I do play drums, but you know what? You got this handle. You got to cover. You're the best. Go ahead. All right. HEY, Y'ALL WANT TO LAY WITNESS to the Stamos man laying down some bongos with a mayhem? no. So, Velvet's roller coaster was obviously huge news, but that's not all that's new. I also got a chance to check out the new update for Smuggler's Run that celebrates the release of the Mandalorian and Grou movie that just came out. I absolutely love the movie, so I'm so excited for you guys to see it. Now, on the ride, you now get to fly alongside of them to complete missions while you're flying the Falcon. Now, if you choose the engineer seat, you're going to be the one who gets to choose your destination. There's three different ones to choose from. There's Vespin, Coruscant, or the Death Star wreckage that's orbiting Endor. There's also a secret button combination that you can press before takeoff that will let Grou pilot. And it is absolutely the cutest thing ever. I think you can ask some of the cast members and they'll help you figure out what you have to press. Next up is Soaring Across America, and this is to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America, and it's showcasing places across the US. This will be coming to California, also starting July 4th, and it's here in Florida right now. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin got an all new update as well. It's got enhanced gameplay. There's new blasters, star cruisers, and there's some new audio animatronics. I've always loved this ride, and I didn't actually realize how much of an update that it needed. It is so much fun. It feels so much faster. And the little blasters, you can now tell which color you are, so when you're shooting the targets, you can actually hit them a little bit easier. So, behind me is the Big Thunder Mountain, and this just got an upgrade. They redid the entire track, and it's so much smoother now. There's also a new height requirement, so it's now 38 inches. Because the ride is so much smoother, this will accommodate more riders, so everyone can have so much fun and check it out. Something else new that they added a few months ago is Zootopia. It's better Zoo together experience. Say that five times fast. This replaced the It's Tough to be a bug show. And they added this around when the new Zootopia 2 movie came out. And it is so freaking cute. I absolutely loved it. It's like a full mini movie in 3D, which is called Carrot Vision. And it's definitely recommended if you happen to be in Animal Kingdom. Look at this. We have got some construction going on. So, this is going to be a new cars area. Not sure when it's going to be opening, but it's pretty cool cuz you can actually see where it's going to be and the construction taking place. We're taking a little detour to Japan. Now, I was in Japan recently and I did this pearl picking experience and little did I know they actually have a very similar one here where you can go in, they have an oyster that you can choose, you get to pick the pearl out of it, and then make a piece of jewelry. We're inside the shop. They have so much stuff, which is kind of cool because these shops are all owned by the individual countries. So, since this is owned by Japan, there's all kinds of things that aren't necessarily Disney properties that you can purchase here. And here's the pearl picking place. Who specializers? Well, you would like you can choose from either. Okay. This one right there. Yep. That's it. How about that one right there? Oh, no. No, no, no. That one. Yeah, perfect. All right, so please come back to this. Okay, frick. How do you know that? I've been trying to learn Japanese. I found your beautiful pearl. That shiny shiny amazing pearl is right. Ready? Wow. Look at that. Wow. Got shiny shiny beard. So you go for a beautiful. Okay, so I'm going to go with the plane and a little purple bottle to put the pearl in. I had the best time getting to check out the new coaster and so so much more. So, huge thank you to Disney for inviting me out for this experience. It was absolutely the best. I'm curious though, what is your favorite Disney ride? Mine is the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot and Space Mountain at Disneyland.
