Summary
You can tell iJustine is hooked on Pokopía as she walks us through her sprawling island tour. She starts by affirming her love for the game and reflects on how far she’s come since initially only knowing a couple of Pokémon names. Her palette town, or Poco Pro Max, serves as a showcase for two key auto-farming systems inspired by Delvox: one that uses lava timers to dry and harvest crops, and another mud-based flow that channels veggies into a central collection point. She explains the tweaks she made to accommodate resource limits and to keep the system running smoothly, even joking about the frequent requests from in-game residents. A big chunk of the video dives into Pallet Town’s storage chaos and her desire for an underground bunker approach to organizing items. The tour then shifts to other areas like Wii Wasteland, Bleak Beach, and Sparkling Skylands, with each zone demonstrating her commitment to authenticity, modular housing for Pokémon, and ongoing upgrades to habitats and aesthetics. Throughout, she acknowledges the learning curve around Pokémon naming, habitat placement, and the social joy of building versus battling. She teases future projects—such as a litter farm for “litter” Pokémon and a true jiu-jitsu or martial arts gym—pinning the next steps to in-game discoveries and community tips. The video wraps with a shameless treat tour (and a reminder to check Reddit threads and Delvox’s tutorials) as she asks viewers for ideas and tips to improve her growing Pokopía empire. She closes with a playful animal-hero twist on the island’s name, signaling that this is very much a work-in-progress love letter to the game.
Key Takeaways
- Delvox-inspired auto farming works by using lava timers to activate pumps and dry soil, causing fruits and vegetables to drop for harvest when water is reactivated.
- Two auto-farm setups exist: one leveraging lava-dried ground and another using 'mud' blocks to push produce into a central stream for collection.
- Pallet Town (Poco Pro Max) is the main testing ground for storage optimization and crafting efficiency, highlighting the game’s clunky inventory system and the magnet-assisted bulk replacement feature for terrain.
- iJustine plans to expand habitats by consolidating evolutionary families (e.g., Eevee evolutions, Dark-type friends) into dedicated homes and by building a litter farm and martial-arts gym as future projects.
- She emphasizes authenticity and preserving the original game’s feel when rebuilding zones like Wii Wasteland, Bleak Beach, and Sparkling Skylands, while still making them functional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Her workflow includes iterative updates: moving Pokémon habitats for better spacing, upgrading environmental levels to 10 across zones, and gradually filling the Pokédex (about 30 Pokémon left at the time of recording).
- She actively seeks viewer input on design ideas and gameplay tips, citing Reddit threads and Delvox’s videos as primary influences for sustainable farming builds.
Who Is This For?
Essential viewing for Pokémon fans and Animal Crossing players who are curious how to translate auto-farming concepts into Pokopía-like builds, and for creators looking for practical island-management ideas and community-driven design tips.

Hello friends. So, I have been playing Piccopia, but I've also been calling it Pootopia. And I want to preface this entire video by saying I am the biggest Animal Crossing fan ever. And everyone who told me that I was going to love this game, you could not be more right. I love it so much. And this is coming from someone who when I tell you about a month ago, I could only name maybe like two Pokémon. The only other Pokémon game that I've ever played was Pokémon Go. and we played that a ton, but I really never paid any attention to any of the names.
I just enjoyed walking around going to different gyms and fighting different Pokemon and collecting them all cuz that's the name of the game, right? Got to got to collect them all. Anyway, here we are many hours into this game and I wanted to give you guys my island tour. I've currently beat the game. I have level 10 maxed out all of my environment levels on all of the places that I can. The only thing that I haven't done yet is make a cloud island. Well, I made one, but I I've got some other things to finish up first.
I still need to collect about 30 more Pokemon to complete the entire Pokédex everyone that's in this game. So, that's kind of what I've been focusing on most. Now, let's just dive into this because we've got a lot to check out. And hopefully this all actually does what it it needs to do. This mic isn't actually working, but it's for a fact. I could probably unplug. Well, no, this looks official. This is This is what we do. Welcome to my palette town. I've actually called this, what have I called it? Poco Pro Max, obviously, as one does.
Now, I'm going to take you through a quick little tour here. It's probably not going to be that quick. So, here's kind of like the overall look. I've got my auto farms over here, and it's night time. I have not done any time skipping in this game. I may want to go back a few hours just so it's light out, but this island looks really nice in the dark cuz I've got so much electricity everywhere. So, we're just going to go for it and I'll show you what we've got. This is our main area here.
Our little road comes in. And over here, we've got a nice spot that we can hang out. Over here, we've got beach chairs. We've got a hotring, which I'm so happy every time I see somebody just enjoying my work. We've got a nice sand hut situation happening over here with some power. Of course, this still is a work in progress. Oh, yeah. You warm and toasty. That you are. We've got a sand cafe which got some trading going on here. If there's anything good. Uh, no, we're good. Thank you. Concert all lit up. Over here are my Eeveeutions.
It's I don't even know if that's how you say that. I'm not sure. I don't even I don't I'm not sure if I fully understand the concept of this, but uh so okay, you actually don't belong here. Still don't really know everyone's names. So, it's a very confusing time for me playing this game. When they tell me to go find a Pokémon to help build, I'm like, I don't know who that is. I don't know that shape. Flareon. So, let me show you his little habitat. It's got a little lava because his habitat was originally like this spicy little pizza.
So, I was like, okay, we're going to give you a little spicy home. I did have to move a few of the others out because they were too close to the other habitats and they did not like the same things and their habitats were overflowing to each other. All kind of match their colors and their food. Yeah, I had to move this one somewhere else. What do we find? What do we get? What is this? Something I've already found. I haven't actually found that one yet. Great. These are some habitats that I'm waiting for them to to happen.
These are all the different types of waters. I've done nothing with this after I built it. This is a little Oh, just look at it. Like, doesn't it look nice? So, this is a downstairs habitat that I built. Um, Umbreon. We actually don't have electricity down here. The reason that I didn't put any light down here was because uh this little owl situation Pokemon. I don't I don't know what to say. I'm learning. This is all new to me. I've never bought a single Pokémon card. I've never bought any of the plushies. I've never got into them at all.
And now I get it. I get it. I'm I'm so mad at myself. Anyway, so whatever that owl's name was. Here you are. Let me figure out your name. Hi. Oh god, you're so cute. Rowlet. Rowlet. cute. That's all we need to know. Wanted something dark and I needed to up my habitat levels and as soon as I put him under there was absolutely loving it. We got a fountain here. I've got all these houses, some of them actually don't. I don't think this one has anyone in it yet. So, we haven't moved everybody in yet.
These small habitats purely decoration. This is sort of my house. It's just sort of thrown together because I've been using it for storage. I was trying to make it somewhat conducive to uh crafting and sorting, but I've already filled them all up and I need to figure something else out. Don't want to put over here yet. I think I'm actually going to build a jiu-jitsu gym right here. There was spoiler in Sparkling Skylands. There was a judo I think they called it a judo gym or a martial arts gym or something. So, I ripped it down.
I took all of the dimensions and I put everything into a a chest. So, I'm going to rebuild that here. Stoked about that. But that hasn't happened yet cuz I've been pretty busy. Something that I want to show you. This is going to be a shout out to Delvox Pootopia because I watched his videos on how to make auto farming situations here for fruits and vegetables. Now, the only thing that you can't auto harvest is wheat. So, you do have to do that manually, but we have two auto farms here. I did stop this one because I wanted these all to grow so that I can show you how this actually all works.
We're using lava as timers. So this motion sensor is here, here, here, and here. So when the lava flows, it turns on and off the water. So it'll continually then dry out all of the plants and all of the fruits will fall. So I'm going to show you how this works. Also, go check out his video to show you how to completely build this. I did do a few modifications and now that I kind of get the whole concept, I'm going to I'm going to build something a little different. But this works so well. This is how we get it started.
Now, underneath all of these trees, I have smooth rock, I think is what it's called. I do need to put a couple more under, but I was running out of resources to make them. And the smooth rock dries out all of the grass and ground it. So, as you can see, the lava is activating the pump again, and now it's regrowing. And as the lava then trills back, it's going to shut off the water again. And then everything flows right here. And I can just suck it all up. Freaking brilliant. It did miss a few, but again, that's because I need to add a few more of the smooth rocks.
I now have some more resources, so we'll be able to make it happen. We're going to let this dry out. See, look at that. All of them dropping. I do. WHAT DO YOU WANT? WHAT DO you seriously all day long? All day long. Thank you for my paint. I I feel bad for What are you What's your name again? Geodude. I truly feel very bad for him because I've been making him. Look how much paint he has made me. And you know what, buddy? You're not done yet. Follow me. We've still got paint to make.
Get in there. Gosh, I should give him like a little fruit or something. Yep. You'll handle it. Let's suck these all up. Let's see what our harvest is. Look at that. You can't just let this run all day and then you just come back and like everything is there and ready to harvest. But I wanted to show you what it's like. Uh this is another auto fararmm that uh was very much inspired by I keep the channel Dell box. So thank you for your incredible ideas. So how this one works is there's a switch over here that activates these up here which have uh mud in them.
And mud does not interfere and act like water. So, it will dry out all of our vegetables here. And the mud will push it all into the middle and then it'll flow just like so. Look at that. We're going to go back over here and push the button again. This turns off this top mud and turns on the water. And so now all of our fruits and veggies are just flowing. And then I can just suck them up. Suck them up. Oh my gosh. And then for the wheat, I need to get these all on the same schedule.
We just do a power cut. Thank you. Thank you. And we will carry on with our day. And that's that's pretty much everything that I have in this palette town. Kind of my experimental town where I really got to kind of like use everything that I learned in all of the other areas. There's still so much more that I want to do, but we got to draw a line somewhere. Now, I'll take you to Let's see. Where are we going to go? We're going to go to We're going to start in Wii Wasteland. Now, the thing that I was trying to do with all of my towns and islands was try to keep them as authentically possible to how they originally kind of started any of the brick in like Wither Wasteland for example.
And still there's still so much so many different areas that I I have to fix there. But I wanted to stay true to what it looked like originally. So, I tried to kind of keep that theme. You'll see. I'm still trying to get a bunch of habitats. So, these a lot of my habitats are just kind of thrown here. Like, I just started getting all my fossil habitats found. Oh, hi. Excuse you. What do you want? What do you want? Oh, you want to say that you like me? Thank you. What did you get for me?
Some stones. I actually need some stones. I'm running a little low. So, I just got these guys today. My little rockstar Pokémon. This is my house, which was going to be like my main storage center where I was going to store everything, but now Pallet Town has kind of taken over for that. This area, not quite developed yet. So, I've got some built-in houses that are built into the sides of the mountain. I don't know. I didn't want to change too much that was going on. So, we've got this nice little patio area. I've got my houses.
We got a little Pokétop. These houses here, I'm sorry if I'm making you motion sickness. This game actually does make me very motion sick when I'm not playing on like a big screen. I've never experienced that before other than in VR. I've outgrown this storage already. This originally started with just one line of these boxes and then I ran out of space. So, I did not plan accordingly. So, now the other row of boxes are now sticking out of the side. I think I'm going to have to do an underground bunker. bell box that I've been telling you about.
He just did a video about an underground storage system that totally going to use some of those tips because it's it's pretty sick. But this is what I had built and it's been working pretty well so far. I just started getting so much stuff. Like this was originally Okay, that's actually empty. Like this was supposed to be construction building stuff and it's now just a mess. But I do have all of these connected here. So if you do have a crafting chest and you have four connecting storage boxes, this will allow you to access anything inside of those.
That is one thing that I do wish they would change about this game is the storage and it's an absolute nightmare when you get to the level that you start gathering a lot of stuff. It's it's crazy. We also have it upstairs which I haven't really done much decorating. It's kind of it's kind of boring. But we've got a kitchen. Also need some more lighting in here. I also need uh some fire Pokémon to come and light this for me. Also have a a little upstairs sleeping quarters. I don't think I've seen anyone ever go up there.
I actually forgot it was even there. Outside deck, so you can take a nice little peek, see what's going on with everybody. Um, I did have a tree farm up here until I made my little auto farm. Haven't done anything up here yet. Space to grow, my friends. I haven't really decorated anybody's homes. My main thing that I was doing was trying to just make sure everyone was comfortable enough. We maxed out our level at level 10 and I was like, "You guys are all fine. You're fine. You're done. Let's move on. Let's just go in one of their houses just to give you a little example of how subpar they are.
You wanted more humidity? Well, here here's your bowl of water. How's your comfort level? Oh, you're awesome. Great. See, look. You don't need a lot. The next thing that I want to do is I want to make a litter farm. So, all of the Pokémon that have the litter ability, I want to put them all in one place so that I can start farming all of their crop. Let's see what we got. A pink cottage. I'm not going to. Come on now. Come on. Come on. Let's move on. There's not a lot more over here.
Our next stop on the tour is Bleak Beach, which I I think this might be my least developed area. It's functional. We are maxed out environmental level. Everyone is happy enough. This actually was a home that I was starting to make for myself when I first started playing. So, this is probably one of my more nicer ones. That's going to be something that I focus on next. After I find everyone, I'm going to start building them custom homes. There's only so much that I can physically do in a day while still trying to maintain contact with the human world, which has been very minimal over the last month.
Bleak Beach is still kind of is still kind of bleak. I got a couple houses over here. This is really the only area that I've developed. I've made everyone kind of just these little grass habitats which are kind of sad. I feel like I was just farming for the Pokemon trying to get everyone to show up, but I kept giving them little toys so that they would be happy. I moved this area is kind of nice. I moved the uh the bath house that was over here. I moved it over here. So, this is a a much better place for it.
I've also been trying to put all of the Pokemon like their their evolutions in the same house. That's going to be for another day also because some have gotten a little off track and they're all on different islands. Oh, I'm hungry. I'm hungry. What are you going to feed me over here? We just got a couple houses. Everyone's happy. Not a lot to show here. Not a lot of progress. This still looks like trash. The problem with this level when I first started was I was replacing all of these tiles like by hand one by one.
I had to do it or I could not walk through it. I wasted a ton of time on these levels when now after you beat the game, you get the magnet dude and you can just replace Rocky Ridge. I feel like I haven't done a good job of redoing this one either cuz I've been spending so much of my time in Poco Pro Max. But I did try to keep this looking sort of similar. So I carved out this to make a little apartment complex. I still wanted it to look and feel like it did when I got here.
Just fixed up. This house is so basic. I was just desperate to move some people in. So I made this little caged in fence and put them in there. Uh so let's start over here first. This was my house, but for some reason it wasn't letting me spot into it. So I just put myself in one of those. Let me put let me put a couple let me put some meals out for everyone. Just a couple a couple little treats for y'all. Got a nice little hot tub here. This is my Rocky Ridge crafting area.
So, I've got two chests full of stuff. So, I've got a couple houses here. Um, everyone seems pretty happy. These are all of my these are my favorite like the little puffs. Let's get a Let's find some honey and get bring them all running. Come hither. Is this all of them? Yeah. Okay. Who else am I missing? Gosh, what a happy Are these all in the same family? Are they all friends? It's It's very unclear for me and I am so sorry to all of you Pokémon fans. I know nothing, but I'm learning a lot.
So, feel free to to share anything you'd like to like me to know in the comments. This thick boy, he's always upset about something. He's like, "It's too moist. It's too dry. Now you want a freaking decoration that looks like food. Leave me alone. We can't we can't be doing that right now." Uh, I think I put all the little little hot dog looking Oh, yeah. I put them all in here. I don't know. These are not my favorite. They kind of make me a little uncomfortable to be honest with you. Here. Oh gosh. Here they are.
Hi, y'all. We're done here. I got to go. So, over here, the apartment complex. So, I basically just cleared out this big hole. And up here, oh, you guys really have zero chill. So, I put uh the the hotties up here. Machamp and Mach Machamp Machoke, I think. Yeah. Um and then their child is on Poco Pro Max. Really really been getting to work. Why don't I have electricity in here? Where's my electricity? I NEED MORE. OKAY. WELL, I can't be bothered with that right now. Couple houses there. This still hasn't gotten fixed. Few little lingers that still need an actual home.
Oh, what's up? What's up here? What's up here? What's up here? What's up here? Oh, a recipe for a music mat. Wonderful. what I've always wanted. Not really, but cool. I'll take it. There is so much more that I want to do here, and I'm so excited about it. I can't wait to really just get all of my Pokémon found and start building them some really nice homes. It's going to be so fun. I will probably build a bunch of houses. So, I think this is where I'll kind of start putting everybody. Another CD. Oh, it's one that I haven't got already.
Great. Next up, we're going to Sparkling Skylands. I did spend a lot of time here building a little trashtopia. Again, I wanted to keep true to the theme, keep true to the materials that are found here and kind of reuse stuff to kind of make it feel like it was a part of the area. I also forgot that I wanted to change the time to daytime, but I didn't. That would be the first time that I ever changed the time, and I I'm I'm glad I didn't do it cuz I I just It's like Animal Crossing.
I would never change the time unless I'm traveling. I'll do I'll get on that time zone. These are my trash apartments that I made. I was just finding so many Pokémon. I didn't know what to do with them. I was overwhelmed. So, I'm like, you know, we're just going to keep building it. Every time I need to put you somewhere else, we're going to give you we're going to give you a floor. They're enjoying their game boy. They're actually playing it. Cute. I tried to put all the birds flying friends up here because they can just fly up and it's it doesn't take as long.
We've got another twotory situation here. None of these none of the interior is really that exciting. But one day, one day we'll work on that. That's that's that's coming up next. Small little habitat here. I also never used the door. Wow, I love that design. I need to take that to the the paint guy. Oh. Oh, look what we have. Look what we have. Look at this. So over here is this was so nice and clean and I was going to build something here, but then I had a bunch of habitats that trying to get Oh, wait.
You need you need water. So it kind of just looks like a trash den. And also I have these little people movers just planted everywhere because I was trying to get the the challenge. I forget how many more I have to do. Six out of 10. I'm like I don't know where to put them. So I was just putting them here. Actually, they're using it. Are you guys liking this? Do you should I make this a more permanent thing? Couple small little houses. And there's also habitats all spread on this outer edge because I just didn't want to tear them down yet.
Eventually, that'll all be cleaned up. And I don't know really where I want to like move everyone. I mean, I kind of like this. Did Does anybody actually use this building? Did anybody move any Pokémon here? Like, did you I don't I don't know what to do with it. I also never put electricity in it either. So, I should probably do that tomorrow. So, that'll be my next task. We got We got What do I get? What? I get a yellow hut. I DON'T WANT A YELLOW HUT. GIVE ME SOME RECIPES. Look at you guys wasting water.
You just You don't even pay rent. I'm not your mom. I'm not I'm going to say I'm not going to clean up after you, but actually I am. What kind of stuff you got for me over here? Oh, a vine rope. Absolute trash. Why do you even work here? I haven't really developed any other areas. I mean, it's really just my little sky trash apartments. Yeah, I like how they turned out. It was kind of fun. Oh, is it kind of dark? What do you want? Decoration. Nice bruises. Okay. Well, I can't deal with that right now.
Let's go back to Poco Pro Max. Oh, Harvest Veggies complete. Uh, another fun tip. If you have stuff to appraise, go to Pallet Town because you can appraise so much faster. What a treat. Like, look at this. Look how fast we're going. I'm not even reading it. All these weird things. Get a Oh my goodness. More coins for me. So sweet. Okay, we only need to get some some gold. 270 out of I think 300. Got a little work to do. And our habitat decks. We definitely we have filled out a lot, but there are still some question mark blocks here, which means the day is not done.
That's my tour. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Let me know if you have any suggestions for things that I should build on my island or any suggestions in gameplay overall. I mean, I've I've played this a lot, so I feel like I know a lot about the game, but if you want to add any tips, please leave them because I've learned so much from just reading Reddit and from threads and Instagram. So, yeah, I love this game so much and I don't want to do anything else. So, maybe this is me now. I pooia or Popia.
I think Pocoia is so much cuter. Okay, I got to go to bed. Bye-bye.
