🔥 IT'S OVER: Claude Code & Opus 4.6 Just Got DESTROYED AGAIN
Chapters7
The creator explains possible disruptions tied to the 1M context window and how it relates to Opus 4.6 and Anthropic.
Opus 4.6 shows glitches with dual emails and nerfs after the 1M-context window, with warnings about Claude Code and upcoming model changes.
Summary
Income stream surfers’ video digs into ongoing stability issues around Anthropic’s Claude- and Opus-based tooling, sparked by the release of a 1 million context window. The creator notes dual-email sends during Harbor-related testing, suggesting a race condition or parallel-subagent bug under heavy load. He demonstrates how Opus 4.6 handled tasks differently from Claude, hinting at discrepancies in concurrency and reliability. The host cites outages and load concerns at Anthropic while highlighting Harbor SEO.ai as a sponsor and practical tool in his workflow. He also teases Claude Code’s project-setup automations and the updated slashinit command, signaling potential future videos. Throughout, he emphasizes vigilance when coding with AI assistance and suspects nerfs to Claude 4.6-era performance. The overall takeaway is a cautious optimism, recognizing real gains from Opus 4.6 while warning that nerfs and outages are an ongoing pattern in the space. He closes by reaffirming his plan to test older models like Sonic 4.6 and to keep viewers posted with more Harbor updates.
Key Takeaways

Hey guys, what is going on? Welcome to this video. This is just going to be a quick one on a potential update that I'm seeing on X and also seeing myself in the code. Something is going on with uh Anthropic and with Opus 4.6 specifically. This is something that happens a lot, right? And almost definitely this is because of the release of the 1 million context window. They're probably being absolutely destroyed by the 1 million context window. Now, let me just show you something, guys. I have done this many many times. Okay. Um, basically what I'm doing here is I'm sending emails to Harbor members.
But I noticed something while I was sending these emails and that is it was sending two emails at the same time. Now, first of all, it was not accepting that as fact. So, you can see your account has no founding 12 entries cuz you're not freeze here. So, the blast skipped you. The emails you received were from the test sends. And I said, "These are duplicates. just [ __ ] trust me, bro. You're sending two. And then sent him some evidence that he was sending two at once. And then he realized somehow, I don't know how he didn't realize this before or it didn't realize this before, it was running two simultaneous of these at the same time.
Right? So, basically what it was doing, it was starting a sub agent to send emails and it was sending two. Now, I have done this 12 times. Okay? Sorry for all the spam by the way guys. I've sent so many emails in the last 3 weeks or so. So, I do apologize for that if you're getting spammed, but it's it's marketing at the end of the day, guys. And I have not once seen Opus do this. So, Opus admitted after a while that it was sending two at the same time, which is an absolute nightmare cuz I don't want to spam people more than I already am, right?
Also, guys, just before we continue, quick shout out from our sponsor, me. This is harbor seo.ai. You only have a little bit of time left to sign up to the founder deal. This is probably getting extended, just so you know. Uh I am extending it as we speak actually because I want more and more people to have a chance to sign up to this. These stats are getting ridiculous, by the way. 78 pages published, 290 clicks, and 34,000 impressions. Now, that is mainly because the writer is getting better and better. But let's just have a quick look at what you actually get for the founder.
So to become a if you become a founder, you get 10 more articles on the light, 25 more articles on the growth plan. We had a new growth plan as well, and 50 more on powerhouse. You get six times rollover. So if you don't use your tokens for six months in a row, they will roll over six times instead of two times for regular subscribers. And also this price is locked in forever. You also get this little badge that says founder at the top. And also I will think of more rewards in the future as well.
The reason I keep extending this guys is because more and more people are signing up and people have seen I don't want people to miss the boat on this, right? So I want to give people who have supported me from the beginning the chance to sign up. So you've got another 24 hours guys and probably will keep extending it after that as well. So yeah guys, in the description and in the pin comment, there'll be a link to Harbor. I have many, many, many more updates planned for this tool. So definitely go and check it out.
So like I was saying guys, this is super interesting. I'm seeing this a lot, right? So, first of all, people are getting locked out almost immediately from their limits. But that's not the thing that really bothers me because I never really hit the limits anyway to be honest with you. I don't use sub agents. I don't use any crazy um kind of coding techniques or whatever. I literally just sit and you know plan and code everything not by hand. Obviously, AI is still doing all the coding, but like as as by hand as possible. Now, there's also this as well.
Claude codes new in it automates projects set up for developers. I'm not going to get into that just now, but I do think that's pretty interesting. Um, so they've also updated slashinit. So I'll probably check that out in another video. But yeah, honestly guys, I've run this. It's not a test, but I' i've run this a million times. My god, push to uh no main. It I just feel stupider and stupider today. I don't know what it is. This happens all the time. I'm going to guess that there was some downs. Let's have a look.
google.com. Uh, is anthropic down? I guarantee it's it was down at some point recently. So, when is that? 20 seconds. That was yesterday. Major outage for 10 minutes. Partial outage for 1 hour and 35. They're getting overloaded, guys. The 1 million context window. They just weren't able to handle it. I I knew that this would happen. This is This says retroactive, which means it wasn't even reported on when it happened, which is super super interesting. So, it looks like there were some issues yesterday. This is This happens every time. Like, you can literally see everything is fine.
Everything's fine. Let's burn money, burn money, burn money, get everyone addicted, get everyone addicted, get everyone addicted. Oh no, we're having problems. Oh no, the models are bad again. You can see it every time. But honestly, the Opus 4.6 1 mil model was really, really good for the for a little bit of time. I managed to get some really really strong updates to the systems like Harbor and other things as well, like internal systems. So, I'm actually pretty happy with how it went to be honest with you. Um, now it's just a matter of waiting for the next model or being even more vigilant while coding.
So, making sure you're checking absolutely everything that it's doing because it will do things wrong. now for sure. At this moment, Claude was nerfed. I'm using max effort and it's just dumb like never before. So, I'm actually seeing this as well. Like, I can confirm just from this very very small test that I did earlier. Not even test. Like, I' i've run this 100 12 times. I've sent emails out 12 times and not once did it send duplicate emails until tonight. So, I just know for a fact that this has been nerfed as well. I can just tell.
Okay guys, well, that was just a quick one from me. I just wanted to talk about this because um it's the same it's the playbook that they use every time. They get people into their system and then as soon as people are on their system, I think this is the one that powers Claude Code if I'm not mistaken. And also Claude Code was also down on 21st. Once you're addicted to the the model and the system, then they basically pull the rug out from underneath us allegedly. And this keeps happening. My advice to you would be to go back to one of the older models like Sonic 4.6.
Maybe if there's a Sonic 4.6 million token model, then definitely go and check that out over Opus 4.6 cuz Opus 4.6, as far as I can see, has been massively nerfed and is going to cause problems if you're not aware of that. Thank you guys for watching. If you are watching all the way to the end of the video, you're an absolute legend. Go and check out Harbor and I'll see you very, very soon with some more content. Peace out.
