RIP FIGMA: OPUS 4.7 + CLAUDE DESIGN IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE

I don't know, guys. I don't I don't know what to do anymore, honestly. Like, I'm starting to feel like this cat. I wake up, there is another Claude update. This is literally what keeps happening, boys. It's Friday. Why are they shipping on a Friday? There is a test tried and tested rule in development that you don't ship on Friday. But I guess if you've got Mythos doing all of your shipping for you, you can ship on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as well. Claude have just released yet another tool. You can access it right now at claude.ai/design. So, if I just show you guys right here, let's just go to this website. This is Claude Design, a brand new product from Anthropic Labs, which apparently they're now called Anthropic Labs, which I don't know. I didn't know that was a thing. Uh you can do this from a slide deck, you can do this from a template, you can do it from other, you can prototype, you can wireframe high fidelity, you can set up a design system first. Oh my god, the quality of this is absolutely nuts. Right. So first of all, I'm just going to show you Harbor in its current form. This is what Harbor looks like as of today. This is what Harbor will look like tomorrow. No, not this. That's exactly the same. There we go. This is what Harbor will look like tomorrow. Right. So, when I ship this update that I've been working on for the last 48 hours or so, uh it will change to this, right? Uh but then, you know, just as I'm about to ship this update, they decide to ship a clawed design tool that comes up with this uh which looks incredible. And I really just don't know what to do anymore because I I can't just keep changing what Harbor looks like because it's driving me insane. You can actually switch between these as well, which is really nice. That looks incredible, I have to say. We can scroll through this. This is kind of what, you know, this is just ridiculously good design, right? Ridiculously good design. Uh there are a couple of issues you'd have to kind of, you know, work out. Uh like this one here. Um but I just mean I just look at the quality of this uh design, right? Uh, I don't think you'll get something better than this no matter how hard you try. Now, like I said, there are some mistakes. Like this is a mistake right here. But I just just honestly the Yeah, just everything about this is crazy. Look at this. Oh man, the quality. So, all I did for this, by the way, the prompt was literally just https harseo.ai full redesign of Harbor SEO. asked me some questions. I answered the questions and it shipped this in 15 minutes, 10 to 15 minutes. It it created this. I wish I'd known about this yesterday before I went through a almost 14-hour process of changing the website from this. This is the current dashboard to this. So, this is what the dashboard will look like when I ship this update, unless I decide to then redo the entire dashboard as well. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to give um this new design tool my dashboard uh because otherwise that would be really really cool. But it is behind a login. So, I don't actually think that's possible. But yeah, I just like the I mean this is an insane hero section. I could just use this kind of homepage around harbor style to be honest with you. I wouldn't mind doing that. uh just because I don't want to completely redo everything I did yesterday. But um just the quality here. Scout finds the real opportunities. Amazing. So where does it find this information from? I'm curious. So it searches the web. It searched for harbor seo.ai. What does it do? Uh so I'm co-developer at craft. I can work with the actual brand. Let me grab a screenshot of the current site. So it got the current site. Your email is craft agency and this all mentions in English and crafts here on the team building this. Now let me Okay, now let me ask you the right questions. Homepage only. Uh yeah, etc., etc. So I would have loved to get d to get a dashboard from this as well. Um but right now I'm not actually able to do that and I don't know if it would be able to log in to be honest with you. But I mean just yeah please claude like whatever. I'll tell you what this is guys. It feels really unfair, right? Obviously unfair is probably the wrong word, but like we're over here like building websites and stuff. Building websites and stuff, but like and and we're using what, like Opus 4.7, but it just feels like Anthropic has this intelligence gap, right? Because they're using Mythos probably to ship things to help us build and stuff. So, like I don't know. It just feels like Anthropic has something that no one's really ever had before, which is a private company that has a monopoly on intelligence, which is almost scary in a way. It's almost scary. One thing I will say, and people will call me an idiot for this, but I'm glad it's Claude and not Open AI because Sam Alman for me, I don't know what it is. I I don't know. The guy just gives me the the heebie-jebies. I can't explain why. I I don't know why. Okay, not legal advice, not making any accusations or anything like that, but Sam Alman just gives me the heijies. At least with Dario Armodi or Armo Dai or whatever he's called. Um, it doesn't give me as much the hebies to be honest with you. And you know, I'm probably an idiot for saying that and he's probably even worse than Sam Alman or whatever. But I will say I'm glad that this is Claude that has this probably AGI, right? And I know that a lot of people are calling this marketing with Mythos, but it really feels like, you know, they have the confidence to ship a brand new tool on a Friday. You know, that's that's a new thing in the world of tech, right? There is there are tried and tested rules about not shipping on Friday because of all the things that can go wrong. You can't fix it until Monday because you're not working. Right? So either they've got their entire staff working Saturday and Sunday or they're so confident in the coding ability of Methos or whatever they're using over there at Anthropic that they are comfortable breaking probably the one of the biggest and most important rules in shipping and in tech and in product which is do not ship on Friday. Not only that, they seem to have nailed product management over there at Anthropic. I don't know what it is, but every single time I'm using one of their products, I absolutely love it. I've been using the Claude Code desktop app for probably the last 24 hours since Opus 4.7 dropped. I've got to say, this thing is a beast. I love it. Absolutely love it. If they put design in here and you can kind of just make your own lovable websites that look incredible. I don't know, guys. It's starting to feel really, really scary. Like, I've done 52,000 52,000 code changes or lines of code changes, right? Even more if you count the deleted ones. Absolutely crazy. And you know, to a certain extent, I've checked through as much as I can, but also just this model is just so intelligent that I don't even have to think about it really. Well, that being said, guys, Claude Design, brand new from Claude, they're going to keep shipping. You know, they are. They're coming after all of the big businesses. They've already replaced NA10. They've already replaced open claw. They're pretty much about to replace Figma, it looks like. Let's just see how we can actually This is just an index.html file, right? So, we can just export, download project as zip, pdf, pptx, send to canva. Interestingly, export as handal html. Hand off to claude code. Look at that. So, you can literally just click this and say, "Look, I want this to be my website." Now, now I'm not going to do that because I've already I literally just finished doing this with uh what you can see here. And I actually really really like what this looks like, but I probably will run this again with um with a few more examples just to see what it comes up with and also see if we can kind of include this in our flow when making a new website.
