Introduction to the Battle for the Planet event and the Ultima Weapon as the focal threat in Ever Crisis.

Maximilian Dood breaks down Ever Crisis’s latest lore drops, weighing whether part three is a sequel spoiler or a playful side-story tease.

Summary

Maximilian Dood dives into the heated theories sparked by Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis’s anniversary event. He highlights how Battle for the Planet centers on Ultima Weapon and ties to the remake’s continuity, debating if Remake’s story is a sequel, a prequel, or something else entirely. He notes Sephiroth’s evolving control over weapons and the “reunion” concept as described in Rebirth, plus Omni Aerith’s presence in the liveream as a connective thread across timelines. The discussion also leans into how Ever Crisis presents a non-linear, episodic storytelling approach that may not line up neatly with the mainline games, and whether this is a spoiler for FF7 Part 3 or simply a meta-narrative tease. Throughout, Maximilian weighs evidence from the mobile game’s lore, including Aith, Zach, Angeal, and the hater club, and he openly questions the purpose and impact of this side story on the broader FF7 canon. He concludes that the event feels like a high-energy, lore-rich fan service piece that may or may not map directly onto part three’s main plot. The video closes with a tempered takeaway: expect intellectual fodder, not a definitive spoiler, until the next major release clarifies how Ever Crisis sits within the remake saga.

Key Takeaways

  • Ever Crisis’s anniversary event introduces Weapon Majour and a battle that hints at Sephiroth manipulating weapons to consolidate planetary control.
  • Aith’s live-stream presence connects multiple FF7 timelines, aligning Rebirth’s reunion concept with live-stream realities.
  • The hater club and ripples in the liveream act as a communal force that pulls various characters together against Sephiroth.
  • Sephiroth’s claim of aligning with the planet’s will marks a departure from the original game’s dynamic and reframes his power dynamics.
  • Zach and Angeal appear in new cross-timeline contexts via Ever Crisis, suggesting a broader connective tissue rather than a strict remake sequel roadmap.
  • Maximilian notes the episode’s self-contained nature and treats it as anniversary lore rather than a guaranteed Part 3 spoiler.
  • The overall tone suggests FF7’s storytelling is branching, with Ever Crisis acting as a connective tissue piece rather than a definitive narrative hinge.

Let's go. This is described as remake theory fuel. Ever Crisis has a unique event happening right now called Battle for the Planet. It features the Ultima Weapon as the big bad fight of it. Ever Cris has had a massive sort of like implication about a year ago when it shows Sephro literally at the end of like remake and he's like thinking and pondering at his life and [ __ ] as he's like sort of recapping his life and stuff. So it's like wo this directly ties to the remake. That's crazy. Yeah. Apparently this is only part one of the event. So I'm curious if this changes. We might have to come back and talk about this a bit more. This features a weapon that is not in the remake series yet. How this is being told is pretty interesting. So yeah, we might not know the finality of this in a week, but everything that I've seen of it so far has some pretty crazy implications. Is the remake series a sequel? Is the remake series not a sequel? And all the butdding heads that have been arguing this for the past like 6 years are now getting a little bit of either confirmation or deconfirmation of this, which doesn't sound like confirmation at all, which I think is particularly intentional. Let's find out why. I already slowed the live stream. It's current transcend time and space. All times bending together, all times drifting apart. Motion give rise to a new story yet unheard. As Rebirth explains, there are different worlds within the liveream like different existences that are not of like physical manifestation. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Another possibility that the planet can embody. Cool. What the hell is Sephro wearing? What is that? Why is he dressed like Dracula? Is that a gotcha outfit or is that like story related? Does he become a vampire? Reunion. All of creation coming to rest within my palm. Oh well, that sounds like what Sephro talks about in in Rebirth right before you fight the demon wall. Sephro and Aith talk to each other when they talk about the reunion which is all the worlds sort of coming together instead of them just being all of the pieces of Genova coming together. The reunion is all of the different worlds existing in one and Sephro controls all of them. Okay. So that lines up with re with rebirth [ __ ] Okay. How do you intend to continue this feudal resistance? So, Sephro and Aith are out here just existing in the live stream, hanging out, and Aith is just chilling, fighting Sephro in the live stream a ton. I will stop you no matter what. I won't let you cause any more harm. You still don't seem to understand. I rule over this planet now. Yeah, you [ __ ] ass got us to kill Destiny. Your plot ghosts now fulfill the plot that you want instead of the one that the planet wants. There's like a deep-seated battle going on in the planet that Tifa sees in Rebirth that it seems like we're winning, but we're not apparently. See the evidence for yourself. What is this? Is it a weapon? Ultima weapon. Majour. [ __ ] turned French. The major ultimate weapon. Weapons only exist to protect the planet. You'll be the one that it'll oppose, right? The weapons are set free in the OG FF7 because Sepharoth was deemed such a threat by the planet because the black material was given to him that the planet goes, "All right, [ __ ] all this. We're resetting this bitch." So the weapons don't literally start going after Sepharoth. They just start resetting the planet, dude. They just start attacking everything. It's an immune system. The white blood cells start looking at even people as being uh it's a server wipe. Exactly. So that's very different. Like the planet the planet has a as a a default back Godzilla aspect to it. It's very original. Okay. Where Godzilla is going to come back and reset everything for the most part. And that's what the weapons are in the OG FF7. But this is a lot different. Sephro is now claiming that he controls the weapons or a weapon which is a lot different than the OG game. Yeah. They'll come after you. Weapon majer is my creation. Its purpose is to destroy all threats posed to the planet. and regain control of it. Okay, slightly different. Sephro controlling the weapons is definitely a very interesting development compared to the original game. In FF7 remake, the planet has a destiny where it keeps things on track. We kill destiny because Cloud's stupid and Sephro makes Cloud do it. So because of it, Sephro gets control of it. Now he's controlling the goddamn whispers and [ __ ] allowing him to create destiny, allowing him to create what the planet wants. He's in control now. So, it's mandatory to play the phone game. I don't like it anymore than you do, brother. All right. It's crazy that some of the best story that's been popping up in this [ __ ] pops up in the phone game. I'm not against what you're saying. I don't like it either. Many of us that really like remake and rebirth. As soon as this [ __ ] was popping up in Ever Crisis was like, "Dude, how is this not in the main game? What is going on? What is happening, dude? This [ __ ] is huge. What is h it sucks." I think it sucks that it's not there. Anyway, but I do think that Noima, who wrote Remake and Rebirth, is also the dude that's writing this. As much as I don't want them to technically be connected because this is so separate from what's going on, they're pretty connected and they're telling a pretty interesting story that I do hope gets reflected in part three in some way. Moving on. We've been chasing Sephro. This is after Aith's dead, by the way, for so long. We have to stop him. But how? Yeah, it's on Steam. But it's a gotcha game, dude. It's a gotacha game that's effectively acting like an episodic remake of OG FF7, which I don't know if it's done yet. I don't think they've actually reached the final story of OG FF7 yet. They're doing like advent children stuff right now. All memories flow within the liveream. It's current transcends time and space. All times melding together at times drifting apart. Motion can give rise to a story yet unheard. Okay. A story where we stop Sephro. That's what I have to find. We already get a pretty good idea of this happening. This is seemingly like the beginning of Omni Earth, right? Where she has to go and find a way where this works. We get this reflected at the end of Rebirth where Omniith has the ability to go within these existences and just discover [ __ ] and find out in what ways can Sephro be stopped. She's literally Aith Prime, dude. we get to talk to this this version of Aith several points throughout the remake series but it's very specific right the first time she directly communicates to the player is in the dream which is optional in FF7 remake part one the one where she's all like cloud you can't fall in love with me and [ __ ] like warning the player like don't because I'm going to die like type of [ __ ] she talks to the player at very convenient moments or she talks to Sephro at very convenient moments anyway so it was like dude this chick is is from the future bro like Who the hell are you? Who the why does Sephro know this [ __ ] These characters are from the future. This is seemingly confirming it. An existence of Aith is going around trying to find a way to stop Sephro after she has died. And that also is backed up by, you know, books and [ __ ] like that. Moving on. I'll be the one to defeat weapon majour, which leads into like an in-game event, I imagine. So, is this Aith from OG FF7? Is she the one in Rebirth? Good question. But kind of, yeah, you can almost think of Omniith as PlayStation 1 Aith. The problem is is that you can't really think of this as being a timeline, like a a linear timeline, like they just sort of exist. But from a story perspective, she has been around and existing in the live stream for a long time. You can almost you can actually think of Omni Aerith literally Aerys being the the OG and she's the one that's trying to find a way to make this [ __ ] like work out because what is the result of PlayStation 1 FF7? Sephro's not dead and sequels with him coming back happen and space cancer and Durge and [ __ ] So, and this is sort of confirming that like yeah, Aith is out here existing and she's trying to find a way to go to the different existences and discover a way to stop this [ __ ] I can feel it. Weapon majour is waiting up ahead. Yeah, the Horcrux is just cloud now. Can I do this? This is Ever Crisis. Yeah, this is basically liveream white. There's a book that Nojima wrote about Aith and Sephro existing in the liveream after OG FF7 which lines up with what's happening here that like in the novels. Aith pretty much exists in the liveream helping people pass on and return to the planet in between because that's where she is. She hasn't returned to the planet and tries to stop Sephro prevent him from coming back. So, she's constantly fighting him in the liveream. Yeah, this is pretty much theoretical liveream white for the first time shown to us, you know. No, I have to do this. So, this is like what's been going on in the behind the scenes. This is what Omni Earth has been up to after OG FF7. But here's the weird [ __ ] I can't allow you to go any further. Don't get in my way. Are you with Sepharoth? Wonderful sounds. And I'm blind. Rosen's here who Erith doesn't know. Another person that is deeply connected to like the planet and the liveream. This is the guy that Sephro kills in Ever Crisis. The last of the not Cetra, right? Long story short, Sepharro and Shinra are responsible for completely like wiping out and genociding a a native culture on an island that are deeply connected to the planet. They just wipe him out so that they can make a reactor there. This guy's the last of them. There's a big question that happens. Will Sephro protect his friends or kill the last of this indigenous people? And Sephro kills him because he he thinks he has friends, right? He wants to protect his friends more. So, he pretty much loses his humanity to this guy. So, this guy's chilling in the live stream. You have to let me through. There's somewhere I need to be. He's chilling in the live stream with Aith. He has not passed on up in Majure. Yeah, if I don't hurry, it's going to destroy us. I have to stop it. You can't possibly think you can do that alone. I know it sounds foolish, but there's nobody else. Well, Eriith out here thinking that she's the only one in the live stream that's able to stop this [ __ ] right? Okay, actually that might not be the case. Huh? Rosen, wait up, says Glenn. All of Sephro's friends that are killed throughout Ever Crisis. All these people die. So, they're all sitting in the live stream, too. They're all Everyone's connected to Sepharro in some way, right? Like that's the big difference is that all these characters are directly connected to Sephro's backstory and his current story which is you know why died. Can always count on Rosen's weapon radar yada yada. You're not the one who wants to save the planet. You're not the only one who wants to save the planet. You're here to stop weapon majour too. And I guess you are as well. We've only seen Glenn die actually and that's during part one. Oh, so they just get killed at some point. Suggest we work together. Offscreen they die. Damn. Rough for Matt and Lucia. This convers Yeah. Are you ready? So, it leads into obviously like a fight scene. Lucia and Matt are still alive as they were in the remake. I beg to differ. I mean, just based on what we're seeing right now. This is the live stream. I mean, you thought Rufus killed Glenn? Yeah, Rufus is the one that offs Glenn in the back and then he shoots Glenn in the back again, but it's Sephro at the end of Rebirth. So yeah, there's a fight. Um, and yeah, the ultimate weapon looks a lot different. It looks like he's still growing. Like I think that's the reason why his wings are tiny. He's got some itty bitty wings. It looks like it's still being formed. Whatever Sephro is doing uh to create his own weapon. It looks like a baby version of the ultimate weapon. Yeah, I think I think it's it's the beginning of it. It's a quick fight. Yeah, we did it. Thanks a lot. I'm very grateful. Who the hell are you people? You're pretty great. Yeah, you're great, too. Ros and look for the next weapon. Majure. There's more than one. There are others. The live stream has multiple possibilities flowing through it. How do you know this? Matthew. Wow. Music. Sephro is unleashing weapon majure on all of them in an attempt to erase those possibilities for good. Matt of all characters out here drops one of the biggest connections we have to this ship. Sephro is the TVA. We talked about this a long time ago back when Loki was popular. Sephro is pretty much like the TVA with these plot ghosts and [ __ ] where they're trying to like line [ __ ] up, right? So now he's going throughout all of them. He got control of the TVA and he is going through all of the different possibilities and eliminating them. So Sephro's unleashing a weapon and in all of those time, all those possibilities, all those worlds, he's getting rid of them. pretty big confirmation of [ __ ] that what Sephro's reunion is is him unleashing weapon on all the other timelines. And this could be what is causing the tears in the sky and [ __ ] It could be like the tear in the sky is weapon showing up and blasting the [ __ ] out of it. I think that's a pretty easy connection to make that like whatever is happening in some of these places, the dooming of these like worlds, these existences might be Ultimate Weapon showing up and blowing [ __ ] up. That's how he plans to become the absolute ruler of the planet. Damn, you guys know [ __ ] For some reason, everybody that's close to Sephro or has history with him like knows more [ __ ] about him. The more possibilities he erases, the more energy Weapon Majour receives, which in turn strengthens Sephro's grip on the planet. Okay, that's bad. Don't worry, I'm not going to let him do that. Are you acquaintances? The hell are you people? So, he's trying to erase any possible timelines where he loses pretty much just as a description of this world [ __ ] The Cetra literally hid the black materia from him in different worlds. Sephro finds the black materia by association at the end of Rebirth when he gets the the guide. He gets the link, the key, and that key brings and cloud delivers the black m. That's the point of rebirth, which is much different than the OG FF7. He's getting rid of like save files. Yeah, that's a good way of describing it. Aith is searching through all those chances in a way that things sort of work out. It's very, and now that I think about it, it's very similar to what Doctor Strange does. It's a lot closer to that where now that he has access to that information because he's been in the live stream, Doctor Strange like cheats and goes to 14,605 realities where they can actually beat Thanos and only one of them is the one that works. Not that different than that, you know. More than acquaintances, Sephro found game facts, discovered that he gets killed by Knights of the Round in one summon and doesn't like it. It was our team leader. We carry some blame for what he has become. By the way, this story stuff is great. Like this [ __ ] is legit insane that it is hidden behind a mobile game. It's insane. It's one of the reasons why I've like thought that the beginning of the next game will be you playing a much bigger budget version of this to get a better understanding of what Sephro is coming from, why he's doing what he's doing. Anybody that even watches the cut scenes is like, "Fuck, dude. This is really good." And everyone expects it to be bad. Because again, if you give Boba Fett more story, he just ends up sucking. Is actually not the case here. Like it makes Sephro a much more interesting character and he still is a bad guy. It has led to some concern that this [ __ ] could be a good guy. Are they going to Darth Vader his ass by the end? I really hope that is that never happens. That's why we have to be the ones to stop him. I think that would be weird if there's a Sephro Redemption arc. I think that would be weird. Those feelings you carry are precious to you. I have things that are precious to me as well. I want to help people that I love. Yeah, this lines up. We all seem to have our own reasons for wanting to stop Sephro. feelings, desires, prayers. All of these from ripples in the liveream and resonate with those on the same wavelength. Ah, okay. So, that's why that's why they find each other. They all hate Sephro so much. We're all Sepharoth is the the biggest hater. These folks are the biggest Sepharoth hater. And they get together. It binds them together. That's how we were connected. Aha. Aha. They really don't like this guy. When enough ripples gather, they can form a malstrm. What is this remake? Why does it look like this? Many people don't know this exists. They they practically remade the OG FF7 in an episodic nature, which is still happening in a game called Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis. It's a mobile game. It's also on Steam. It's a gotcha RPG. Allows you to play remade chibi versions with in-game graphics that look closer to like turnbased FF7 remake. You can play it if you want. It's fine. like gameplay-wise, but it's got a ridiculous amount of like lore and backstory [ __ ] that is acting as connective tissue between part one to part two to part three. This malstrom can be used to defeat weapon majour and stop Sepharoth, right? In the same way that Sephro is literally um feeding on bad vibes, uh the hater club gets more powerful the more Sephro haters there are in the live stream. So that means when Sephro eventually kills Tifa in part three that the hater club is going to get the most power possible. Make sense? No matter how anxious or afraid we are, we just have to hold fast to our desire to save everyone, right? Yeah. It isn't an easy road to take, but I'll take it. I have to. I sense a new presence. All right, we'll be off then. I'm going to go catch Sephro and punch him in the face. Thanks, Glenn. Thank you. Thank you, Cloud's dad. Care of yourself, Aith. I should have called her Aerys. Don't put that curse into the world, man. This is actually Omni Aerith. Like straight up like direct acknowledgement of Omniith. She's sitting in the live stream doing [ __ ] She's a character. All these feelings, desires, and hopes. I won't let him erase a single one. The only other time we get a direct um acknowledgement of Omni Aerith, like who the [ __ ] are you? What is this? Who is this person? is the end of Rebirth. The the last fight of Rebirth after Aith seemingly dies and [ __ ] or doesn't die. Cloud and Zach are separated and they go through like 17 [ __ ] boss fights and then finally Cloud finds Sepharoth for like the final battle and Aith shows up wherever the [ __ ] they are. Finds a way there in the live stream or some [ __ ] which confirms she's dead and then assists Cloud to kill Sephro. So it's Aith and Cloud versus Sephro. That is Omniith showing up to piece this [ __ ] out. You know, has it been announced that Glenn is Cloud's dad? No, that's a joke. That's me joking. Uh, another possibility. Such a familiar, comforting voice. Feelings, desires, prayers. I can sense them in this place. Where the hell are you? Where the hell are we? Can't move. of weapon. Majour is stronger than before. We're just in a place. Looks like Medil. Not really. Medil's on an island. This is crisis core music. It's got to be Bonora. Yeah. Aith. Hey. This is pretty crazy. I found you. Wow. I found you finally. It's definitely Bonora. Pre- nuked Bonora. It's your dead boyfriend. And you're also dead. Zach. Pretty crazy, dude. We thought this was going to happen in part three. Why wasn't this in Rebirth? It should have been. This is the [ __ ] that should have been happening in the Zach flashbacks, bro. Like, no [ __ ] I think it is. They're saving it for part three. Hopefully, this is Rebirth Zach, right? This is where Zach exists in Rebirth in some way, like potentially at the end. I almost think of this as, you know, the part where before Zach wakes up in the church. See you, you know, and [ __ ] as he's going through worlds and stuff like that. Like, he's literally getting teleported in between worlds from Aith. Like, she's assisting him. So, she he gets like healing and all that kind of stuff. He gets all these like buffs and [ __ ] He's literally communicating with Cloud across worlds and they're fighting Sephro and all this weird [ __ ] It's because Aith is providing that. He just doesn't remember it when you see him like wake up in the church. I think I'm going to make an assumption that that's what this is. I'm late. No, I'm not. So, I'm not so happy to see you. So, in Advent Children, is that one Aith at the end of the movie? Yeah. Yeah, pretty much. Omni Aerith is in Advent Children. She's the one talking to Cloud. Yeah. can catch up later. First, let's take care of this thing. And Gil's also just big chilling. He's also Aniel's back to being himself, which is why this is crazy live stream [ __ ] And Gio's back to being himself. There is now four Buster Swords or some [ __ ] He's not mutated and crazy. No, no, he's normal now. He's back to his like his his spirit, his soul, right? Makes sense. All we're saying is that in the live stream, what this is setting up is that the Sepharoth hater club of all the people that have been affected by Sephro and then had relation to him in some way in life that affected to get him to where he is now, are all chilling in the liveream, not returning to the planet, big pissed off, and they're trying to change [ __ ] Aith, are you okay? This is crazy that this is their official reunion. Thank you both of you. Looks like we're clear for now. Let's take a break, Zach. Wow. Zach, where were you? I waited so long. I looked for you everywhere. I waited so long I died. I'm sorry. I waited so long I [ __ ] died. I thought maybe that people kept asking for your help and you were helping every time. That sounds like Zach. That's not far off from the mark. Actually, I was heading over to meet you, but then I ended up in the live stream. That's the softest way of putting that. You got lost because of all the detours, huh? That is directly referencing the goddamn ending of Rebirth where he's like duh or duh A or B type [ __ ] That is directly referencing where he is like do I go over there and help out bigs or do I go save Cloud. It's directly referencing that [ __ ] The rainbows. The [ __ ] rainbows. Uh anyway, moving on. Why is all this happening in a mobile game? Can't argue with you there, but Aniel eventually found Angal found me. Wow, that's kind of neat. That's sort of cool. And that's why I've been searching all over the place to find you. Just when I thought I found you, another distraction came up. Just when I thought I was getting closer, it turned out to be someone else. Yeah. What the [ __ ] is the white feather in the first trailer? The white feather is usually synonymous with angel. The white feather at the beginning of the rebirth trailer. Wonder if that's going to come around in some way. So anyway, crisis score ending has that [ __ ] Yeah, she did find me and now we're together again. The white feather's always been angel. I wonder I knew I could find you. I had to find you. That's what I kept thinking. And Gio's a bird at the end of Crisis Core. And Gio doesn't grow the black wing like Genesis does and Sephro and all that [ __ ] He grows a whitewing. And Zach thinks it's kind of cool. Instead of him being he sees himself being a like a terrible monster. As goofy and corny as the story is, the storytelling behind it is being used again. Is being used again here. And G's always been associated with a white feather in some way. Yeah. I guess our ripples resonated. Gio said something like that, too. The ripple formed by us wanting to see each other probably wasn't enough. We're also brought together because we both want to stop. We really hate Sephro, right? What? You too? But why? I was selling flowers in Midgar while searching for you. Then I met all these people and suddenly I was on an on a journey with my new friends. It's because you told me that Midgar can be full of flowers. You were right, Zach. Going on a road trip. I want to protect the friends that you help me find. That's why I have to stop Sephro. Zach, watch me shoot. Watch this radiant ward. Your 24th tiny no gigantic wish, huh? Let's make it come true together. Ah, damn, dude. The crisis score call back. The 23 wishes [ __ ] All the boyfriend girlfriend [ __ ] that they went through in that game. His [ __ ] ass remembered. Damn, that's sort of sad. Yes. This is so crazy, dude. This is crazy that this is where this [ __ ] is happening. Pretty much the recompense of Crisis Core, the separation of Aith and Zach, them always trying to get a hold of each other in this mobile game. This happens here. I was expecting these events to take place in the next game. Zach, you and Aerys should leave this area. Majour's approaching. Yeah, because everything's going to get blown the hell up. I Dude, I almost think it's intentional that they're not showing the sky, right? Like the shot is particularly aimed down so you don't see the sky cuz if the sky was being visible, there might be the giant like worldending break in the sky. Probably signifying that it's like Sephro sending weapon to destroy it. What are you talking about? We're going to fight too. Very well. We'll eliminate weapon major and drag Sepharroth out. All EC signs are pointed down. Ah, okay. So, they're all isometric. I'm partly to blame for what Sephro has become. Everyone's saying this. Every That's why all the hater club is coming I should have lectured him more and set him on the right path, but in the end, I failed to stop his fall. Yeah, dude. Everyone has regrets, right? Like everybody that's stuck in the live stream has regrets. Like they're deeply regretting not doing something about Sepharoth before it got way out of hand. Re no reggers, but I will never shrink uh sherk my responsibilities ever again. That has been my resolve ever since entering the live stream. Okay, cool. So these characters are continuing, right? That's kind of neat is that yeah, we're just getting direct confirmation that like Angiel big died, Zack Big died. They're not able to hang out. We we never go into the live stream and like communicate with the dead, but now we are getting a a literal view of that world a little bit from a story perspective, which is kind of interesting. All right. Never been one who could leave well enough alone after all. Such folly. Sephro, seriously, why are you dressed as Dracula? Yeah, these are the Bonora trees, chat. So, they're just in some memory of Bonora. It's been a long time I've been looking for you. Dumb apples. It's still a hope of mine that in part three the Bonora crater will be there because again Shenra nukes Bonora. I hope that there's a Bonora crater that you can legit go to cuz at the end of Crisis Core I think you literally go into the ruins of Bora to fight Genesis, right? I think that's how that happens at the end of Crisis Core. You do that's where everything like goes down. Please dear God. In the exact same way that Weiss was a cool boss fight of a terrible character that existed in Durge that was made into a very cool boss fight that was fun in FF7 remake. You can bring back Genesis and make him a cool boss fight that somehow is unlocked in some way in the Bonora crater. Somewhere in the world you need to find a dumb apple or some [ __ ] and then you place this dumb apple in the Bonora crater and it brings back Gact or a copy of Loveless, I don't know, or his sword, whatever. You know, I think that's the best way that you could treat that character. Is there nothing you want to say? I'd be surprised if it didn't happen. Yeah. You can bundle together like so many sticks, but you still won't be able to stop me. It's as if we're back at the very beginning when we first met. Obsessed with greater power, trapped in your own shell, languishing in vacant dreams. Yeah. If there's one person that actually knows Sephro more than anybody here, it's Angeal. Cuz Aniel and Sephro were like kissing practically at all times. Uh, I'll wake you from that troublesome stuper of yours if it's the last thing I do. I need not soil my own hands with the likes of you. Dumb [ __ ] Embrace your true hopes and dreams. If you won't listen, I'll repeat it over and over until you hear me. Damn. He's holding the sword to his head. He's doing the embrace your dream [ __ ] The 24th wish. Wow. So, you have to have to fight weapon majour in all these different worlds. Oh, is that it? Oh my god. And that's it. And that is it. So, we have to wait either a week or a week and a half or some [ __ ] So, Final Fantasy 7 remake believers look at this sequence in Ever Crisis and say, "Hey, this pretty much confirms that this [ __ ] is a sequel." The skeptics look at this and say, "Hey, this [ __ ] pretty much confirms it's not a sequel." And I see why on both accounts. We're pretty much watching post OG FF7 Aith chilling in the live stream gathering haterade with all the other people that have been [ __ ] with from Sephro. And she's also talking about visiting the other worlds where Sephro is involved to discover a way to stop him. Aith has died and she's big chilling and spending time figuring out how to stop Sephro because she knows that Sephro comes back. He returns in Advent Children. He comes back and he refuses to [ __ ] leave. Pretty much confirms it's a it's a sequel. Okay. If we're to look at things from the perspective of just the remake series and not the other games, right? Not OG FF7, not Advent Children, none of that kind of [ __ ] If we looked at it from that perspective, this is Aith who just died and she's sitting here trying to find a way to stop Sephro. Just from that perspective, she just died. This isn't technically like taking into account she's died in the OG games. No, she she just died in Rebirth, dude. So this could be that Aith as well. This could be her perspective of her passed away in the live stream assembling a ghost team going through different possibilities find ways finding ways to stop Sephro even though things are panning out differently in FF7 remake and Rebirth. It still could be directly in continuity with the remake series and not anything else. This could just be Rebirth Aith that has been continuing from Ever Crisis. All that kind of stuff. Yeah, it literally does not confirm either one. You could look at this and be like, "Yep, that means it's a sequel. Yep, that means it's not a sequel." Spicy remake. That's intentional. That's I think that is 100% intentional, dude. They just will not give us official answers on this [ __ ] until there's another game. They just will not. There's a bunch of evidence to make it feel like it's going one way and then there's a whole bunch of evidence to make it feel like it's going another way. That is exactly what they want. Nobody has any answers right now. We're back. This story has concluded. We have to see if this leads to any kind of interesting inclination or if it's just a fever dream or if it is an actual spoiler for FF7 part 3. Is it you awake? No. This is not the end. Too many Buster Swords. We need two more Buster Swords. Is it possible to somehow get two more Buster Swords? I'll get it as many times as I have to. Accept the truth. The weapon is a guardian of the planet is intent on eliminating you. Your very existences have been rejected by the planet. Protecting only you become one with the live stream. My will and the planet's will are one and the same. So that's a bit different, right? That's different than the OG. Sephro is like fighting against the planet's will in the original Final Fantasy 7. So no, that's not the same. Sephro's intentions are completely different. He's saying it, too. He's like he's like, "Actually, me and the planet are are bros now. We are working together." Or he's lying. He could be lying, but why would we think he's lying? You know, he's also commanding weapons. That's a bit different. Sephro, I regretted not talking to you more on that last mission. But you a dumb [ __ ] Maybe we can make up for that right now. Talk to me. Why are you doing this? Xbox Jim Carrey. Eat a bear. Lemon pee. Seth Roth. I read that in the chat. I need to talk. Don't hide inside yourself. Answer us. Sephrod, I thought we were friends. Ridiculous. Seriously. Yeah. Okay. Things aren't happening. This is the end. I'm God damn it, dude. Now I can't unhear it. Xbox Jim Carrey, eat a bear, lemon pee, Sephro. I can't unhear it now. Part three looks kind of off on guard. Oh, okay. Damn, this theme though. So, they're all here, right? That makes sense. Sorry we're late. Yeah, cuz Angel hasn't seen them in forever. Even the mighty hero Sephro can't ignore these numbers. So again, they are they are gathering in the live stream because their deep hatred for Sepharoth like acts like a ripple that brings them together. Their relationship to Sepharroth and the fact that they are big mad with him and they want to stop him is what brings them together in the live stream. I think that's how it is. The old seven. No matter how many of you gather, you cannot prevent the coming doom. Compared to the everlasting life of the planet, your efforts are not but a blink of an eye. Okay. Why is he dressed like Dracula? Sephra, do our voices no longer reverberate within you? Reverberate. Such weak vibrations are nullified by the pulse of inevitability. I like the localization of the remake series sometimes. Uh, now let us end this. It is time you cut off from all possibilities. Probably a boss fight. We should withdraw for now. Are we giving up everyone? Yo, WHAT? Wait a minute. Did Ever Crisis in the OG game get this far yet? We're at the northern snowfields and [ __ ] already. Have they gone past this? Like, have we seen the icicle in? It's not a spoiler. No, no, no. This This isn't the OG game. This is right after they leave the city of the ancients after Aith dies and you have to walk through a bunch of snow peaks and valleys to get to the icicle in and then plot. Right. We're saying that even in Ever Crisis, the remake of FF7 in Ever Crisis, the OG one, not the re trilogy, they're right after the death scene. This chapter's not even out yet, really. Okay. So, this is like a sneak peek of where they're going. So, Aith is just talking to the main party now. This is not This is very different. I'm not imagining it. Am I? Did you just This is very different. I just saw Aith's face. Me, too. It was just for an instant, but it was clear as day. I saw it, too. And that scent, it has to be her. Oh, it's red saying that. Oh, good. I can smell her. Is this the Aith's voice I'm hearing? Definitely. She sounded kind of desperate. This is weird. So, it's weird. It's that like right after Aith dies, they're all like picking up on her vibes. No, I don't think this will happen in part three. Ever Crisis FF7 remake is not like FF7 remake. Vanish, you don't belong in my And also, this is like a side event. This I don't even know if this is directly related to the main events of the game. You do not belong in my planet story any longer. This is an anniversary event. Okay, so it could or not be a thing that even happens in the main game. I won't give up. I'll protect everyone. They're just big chilling in the live stream with them. They're crossing over and [ __ ] They must have resonated with Aith's will. They're all part of the same ripple now. This is getting interesting. This definitely comes across as like otherworld stuff, like other possibilities. Like that kind of [ __ ] Cloud, it's your dad, Flynn. Look at him. I don't think this is going to be discussed in part three at all. This feels like this feels a little like things are just happening, you know, so far. Maybe maybe it explains it again. All of you gathering here is nothing more than the will of the planet. Eliminating the strongest thoughts in one fell swoop will just tighten my grip even further. We all share a bond, united by the same powerful desire. If we stand together, I know we can win. Those who oppose the will of the planet prepare to perish. Yeah, this doesn't really feel like remake narrative very much. The whole project is marketed as another possibility for a remake. Yeah, it feels a little out there. Like it's not really explained very well either. It's just sort of happening for the sake of setting up an interesting gameplay thing, at least to me. Like I think this severely undermines the thematic story of FF7. If the whole party is just big chillin with Aith in death fighting Sephro ethereally, it's a goofy side story. Like have fun with it, you know? No longer sends weapon majour's presents like a Star Wars Christmas special. Kind of taking care of your prize pet, Sephro. So, what's your next move? Let's settle this once and for all. dialogue is not entirely moving things forward. Thanks to your will, my story has entered a new chapter. Cement this possibility as truth. I shall bring you further despair. Oh, okay. So, okay. I think they are trying to explain this a little bit. Uh, let me move my [ __ ] ass face maybe to over here. This could be Sephro like meandering through the worlds and getting a better understanding of how things work. I think that's what it is cuz that's what he does. He hangs out in the live stream and in all these like dreams and possibilities and [ __ ] and has a better understanding of how everything works. That's how he gets direct control of the live stream and [ __ ] At least I think so. Maybe this is tying in a little bit. He's like vibe checking the other worlds. Yeah. Can you do such a thing? I want to protect the planet because that's where the people important to me all live. You must have had someone like that, didn't you? I wonder. Of course, he doesn't say anything. He just leaves. Sephro, no matter how much may want to deny it, you are still my comrade, my friend. I'll protect this planet and I will protect you. Damn. And Gil, he's kind of a piece of [ __ ] Us too. Sephro can hate us all he wants, but we'll always consider him one of us. I guess because, you know, they remember the old him. This almost makes me think that they're leaning into the concept of a Sephro reverse heal turn to make him have like a character relapse where he like maybe becomes a good guy. Maybe they're leaning in that. I hope not. I definitely hope not. I don't want them to do that. Sorry, I've lost him. Rosen's super connected. I hope he doesn't go and do something stupid. It's not like he's gone from existence. We'll find him again. We had him right in our sights and we can do it again as long as we don't give up. Like, and here's what I'm saying where it was like that would be a little disappointing. Cool part about OG FF7 is that Sephro remains the bad guy for like the majority of the game. He remains the bad guy. He is the ultra bad guy, right? That's what in a lot of old Final Fantasies and old RPGs, the bad guy can be sort of like loose where it's like, who's actually the bad guy? And you find out who the actual bad guy is and near the final battles and stuff, which is like a little disconnecty. It's like, yeah, I guess. What was cool about Sephro is that like, yeah, he's the bad guy, dude. Like, he's the one we're following the whole goddamn time once we leave uh Midgar. I really do not like the idea of a Sepharoth uh redemption arc. I can see him coming to in a way, but let me just propose a a dream scenario. Cloud and Zach somehow team up with a redeemed Sepharoth to take out Gova as the finality of Final Fantasy 7 remake series. No sir, I don't like it. I'll just say myself. Sephro, Cloud, and Zach all team up to take down Gova or some [ __ ] Doesn't sound good. That is Magus' character. Maggus is a guy that has like a character turn because that is his character. That is not really a part of Sephro's character. He is a different person in Ever in Crisis Core. So, because Crisis Core allows you to see an early Sephro before he goes through his crazy [ __ ] then, you know, all I want to say is that I also want to be surprised in the next game. I don't want things to go exactly the way we think they go. I want to be surprised, but I think that would be very disappointing if they ended up doing that kind of [ __ ] I would not like They've done a lot to humanize him. They have. Yeah. But they also again I don't think they're doing they're humanizing him in a way where we are going to be empathetic towards him. I think they want to pull us a little bit of sympathy towards what he went through and why he is the way he is to make him a bit more relatable. Not to make him a good guy, but to literally give him Thanos traits where like what Thanos is saying makes sense. His actions are cruel and evil and what he does to get his goals are cruel and evil, but he has intent behind it that is good for the people that remain. He's actually like trying to do something technically right in the worst way. I feel like that's what they're setting up with Sephro that he's going to try to do something technically right in the worst way that will not vibe with characters. You know, that's the reason like Thanos is a great villain is because they're giving reason behind this stuff. Sephro was just doing [ __ ] because I found out I'm an alien guy. My mom is so cool. Let's kill everything, you know. Notice that, too. I have no idea why that's the case, but looks like we'll have to depend on Cloud and his group picking up Sephro's tracks in the real world. Yeah, find him, please. Of course, that was our intent all along. I don't know what's going to happen, but I know that we're not alone. Face whatever is to come together. I doubt the path will be easy, but I have faith in all of you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Whatever we do and help on our side. I continue to search for Sepharoth's presence. Anything to aid? This tab is ours to pay off, right? All right, we'll be going. Okay, basic stuff. Looks like we're being pulled back to our own world as well. This is bizarre. It was a miracle brought into existence through this strong bond that you share. Thank you everyone for coming. So happy to know that I'm still connected to all of you. Me too. It's great seeing you again. Like it's funny. Like it the the the way these characters are like talking to each other is funny. This is like the first time they see each other. You'll do us proud, Cloud. Honor my hopes and dreams. You know, like sure. Hey Cloud, sorry I died. Like that kind of [ __ ] Thank you all. I'm happy that I got the chance to be with you all once again. Cloud says likewise. Probably won't remember what happened here. Oh, okay. Nah, dude. This [ __ ] is a one-off. This [ __ ] is just a one-off. There you go. They're explaining it out. So, I think we're getting to a point where this is just a cool thing that they're setting up for Ever Crisis and it's just a neat sort of thing. You're not going to remember anything. it. This never happened. This is a fanervicey sort of thing, but it is not a direct teaser of like I don't know if it's a direct teaser of narrative anymore. I don't think it is, man. Fact that Sephro is controlling weapons is fascinating, but anything that happens in this unique anniversary story event, I don't know if we can hold the same cadence to like the crazy other Sephro scene that's directly tied to actual story events. You know, I want to say goodbye. There's no need for that. You're always connected after all and all and always will be. It's It's an Ever Crisis specific thing. That's what I'm getting out of this. I'll be off as well. There was a time when I caved to circumstance and went against my own principles, but I'll never make that mistake again. Dude, you're dead. I'll never give up on Sephro. I'll get through to him somehow. And GL, wait for me. Are you sure? I'm a little late for that. Aith, I'm glad we got to meet again, but I'm going with Angiel. The also the like the writing of this is a lot different than like for example the Ever Crisis first soldier feels a little bit off. Really straightforward, you know? Just want to do everything I can do. Welcome back to the stage of history. I understand Zach. Good luck. I'll do everything I can to feels kind of stilted. Yeah. Ever need me. It's like they don't want to It's like they don't want to have this be a thing that is tied to lore implication. Like they're really trying cuz we're going to save these moments for something different later. Yeah, that's I think that's what I'm getting out of this. I think it's handled very differently. And from a writing perspective, from a character perspective, they don't want just I feel like they don't want us to think too much about this. If I need you, I'll come to where you are. Ripples resonate after all. See, that technically happens at the end of Rebirth, right? Aith shows up wherever Zach is to help him out. She gives him like the healing thing, teleports his ass out of there. not sad about being apart again because we're not apart. Not really. This would be omniith. Yes, if it is. One thing I understand better after fighting weapon majour together with everyone is we're all connected in the live stream. That's why everyone shouldn't hesitate to follow the path that they've chosen. I know that I won't. I'll flow through the live stream watching over the planet and all my friends. All right, so now this is definitely directly tying into [ __ ] This is Omniarith [ __ ] And I'll protect them all. cute. That doesn't make any sense. Yeah. I Okay. Yeah. I I think this is a bit disconnected, you know? I think this is a little bit disconnected. I'm not really pulling anything from this about like where the story is going, how the logistics of things work, like motivations of characters and stuff. I think there may be like some things, but it's like a cute little whatif scenario, especially considering it's not directly tied to like story events explaining it out where it's like when you leave, you're going to forget everything that happened here where it's like, okay, so it really wasn't that important, you know? I think that's my conclusion at the end of this. It's just some goofy stuff that they set up for their 2.5 year anniversary event. It seemed like it could be pretty crazy where like Sephro's controlling weapons and all this stuff. That could end up being true, but because some things in this could be true and some things aren't directly correlating, maybe aren't. I don't know if you can pull anything from this, man. It's just like a goofy little side story. I don't think there's actually any big part three spoilers here. They wouldn't put an important story in a mobile game. You have a lot to learn. Heat. Heat.
