RE6 messes me up every once in a while with its camera and uh a few other games here and there, but this and faster paced games like Pragmata and stuff totally fine. It's very weird. When this happens, I get really yawny. Um, I didn't play a ton of it, but no issues. Dying Light was totally fine. But I can turn off the um, what's it called? I could turn off the uh, the headbob [ __ ] A crosshair on the screen probably helps a lot, too. Yeah, I think I should have done that. Start the cycle with a key. Heavy weapon charges your L3 R3 move. Oh, that [ __ ] Okay. So, using my L2 makes my uh L3 R3 show up more. This game is I mean maybe in a vacuum this game could be easy compared to Returnal. It's still mad hard. Like it's still tough. It you progress much faster on the back end than Returnal. There's a lot lot more um linear progression in in terms of all this [ __ ] I would say if you had tough time with paternal naturally um you might have a better time with But it's challenging. It's still it's still very challenging. We've died to bosses several times. If you died, does your progress reset? So, here's the way the game works, and I haven't done a full run yet. Um, what you do is you level up the character to a proficiency level up there, which is like your overall power level that can naturally get stronger over time. So, when you get into a run, your proficiency and your power go up, your weapons get more powerful, yada yada yada. with me here. That's just like Returnal. However, there's checkpoints for all the areas now. So, you can go straight to an area, but you start with your base proficiency. If you went to the previous areas and did a run, like a full cyclical run, like you had Returnal, you would be way more powerful. Like you can do every single thing in a row in order and have and and if you have a tough time on a boss as you're checkpointing, just do a couple runs before and you can be way more powerful because you killed the boss, you did the thing. There's things that give you health recovery when you get to bosses and stuff like that. It refreshes your your revives, all those kind of things. You get bonuses for that [ __ ] Um, so there's incentivization to do full runs and not just checkpoint one runs. Checkpoint runs might actually end up being a little bit harder. Yeah. More artifacts, more buffs, all that kind of [ __ ] So, you can pretty much play the game like it's Returnal, or you can play with this new checkpointing system, which might be a little more difficult. And that's what I'm running into. The game's a little bit more difficult when I have to um, you know, kind of like start at a checkpoint and try to fight a boss. Yeah, Returnal's big ass like 5h hour gauntlet was a little unhinged. Yeah, it was part of their vision, don't get me wrong, is what it is. What do we even have activated right now? Uh, damage dealt to hostiles. damaged out the hostiles. Lucen at rage radius integrity is fully restored upon reaching an overlord. So I get full health when I get to a boss. That's great. Increase the tier of all artifacts. What do we got over here? Corruption bonuses. Lucinite reduction upon returning to the passage. I I want to make progress here. So, let's just do that. Further lucinite reduction upon returning to passage. Turn off how removal. that one's very good though. Second chance. Yeah, we don't have a lot of these. In in all honesty, it's kind of similar to Expedition 33 where you're like, "How far did she get?" Like, "How far did she successfully get?" And when you That's a cool narrative, right?
