The entire thing that's going to keep you going is the fact that this gameplay hook is going to evolve and get better and better and better and get more and more and more things you can do and you're just going to be into it for that, you know? Yeah, Kunitsu Gami was like it it was it was a bit of a harder sell in Kunitsu Gami because it's very specific. What that game is is not going to be for everybody. Which is also cool. Again, the first half of Resident Evil 9, in my opinion, was like, "Oh, this is game of the year." And then I played the second half and it was like, "Okay, maybe not." It's not directly a Souls game, but it has some connective tissue that is the closest, you know? It's funny that you'd say Metroidvania. Brother, 3D Metroidvania is just a Souls game. Like it just is. I was thinking that it was going to be and when it was first revealed, I was thinking it was going to be Onimusha. I'm like, "Oh, is Onimusha going to be more of a Souls game?" I played it. It's not. It is not. It's just an Onimusha And weirdly enough, like in this one, like from a design standpoint, than any other Capcom game. And it it ended up being Pragmata. It's weird, you know? Yeah, we're doing path tracing right now. It's weird, but they do it in a way where it's like very Souls-light. The where where I feel it the most is in level design. The level design in this [ __ ] is honestly some of the best stuff that Capcom has put out in a long time. I'll be real. Capcom is not the best at level design, necessarily. They're not like the gods at it. The beginning half of RE9 had really good level design. Uh dude, every single biome, every area, the way you interact with the areas are genuinely very good. And it's like, "Wow, dude. Capcom doesn't usually have level design on this in this way." They're usually like combat-focused where the combat carries the game a lot, but the levels are just there to assist the combat. No, no, no. This game has great combat and great level design. It's very weird. It is un-Capcom-y in that way. Think the delay helped? I think it probably did, too. Where's that last place? Is there a thing? What? Am I drunk? Hey, look at that. Dude, in in ways that you might like or dislike, Souls-like level design or is Souls-isms that came from like Miyazaki and FromSoftware games have been so influential on this industry, it's insane.
