Kimi Code + Kimi 2.6 Just Changed EVERYTHING

Look at this guys. After only being released less than 48 hours ago, it's already number 10 on programming. This is Kimmy K2.6. And in today's video, we're going to be testing it out inside Kimmy CLI. Now, one thing I do want to quickly say is that in my opinion, the benchmarks for this model are complete horse crap. So, these are Yeah, this is the benchmarks that they're giving. I don't know. So, this is Opus 4.6. So, apparently, it's better than Opus 4.6. I think that's absolute horse crap personally. Um, but this might be a step forward compared to previous Kimmy models. So, in today's video, we're going to be testing exactly that. Now, you can read through all of this if you want, but in my opinion, they're just bull craping on most of this to be honest with you. Uh, I don't know what Kimmy Claw Bench is either, but I feel like they're just making crap up at this point. Honestly, there's no way it's even anywhere close to 4.6. But in today's video, we will test it out. So, let's jump into things. Okay, so the first thing I'm going to do is we're going to put yolo mode on and then we're just going to give it the entire prompt and then basically we're just going to go and chill for a bit and then we'll come back and we'll see how this has built. Now, this is the prompt I always use. It's a service-based website prompt. I've kind of gone off this prompt more recently. I'm doing much more complicated things nowadays, but this prompt is still a really, really good test to see if a model is complete bull crap or whether it genuinely is as good as it says it is. The main thing to note is the technical build, right? I think the look and feel is fine. Whatever. It could be improved. It could be worse. It could be better. It is what it is with the with the kind of look and feel. What I like to check is the technical build because in my opinion, what makes a good build is a good technical build, not necessarily a good look and feel. So, the technical build here is absolutely incredible. There's not a zero for there's not a single 404. I can change to Italian, English, Italian, English. Literally works perfectly. Uh, pretty impressive stuff, I have to say. This is Kimmy CLI with Kimmy 2.6. And I have to say it's it's absolutely insane for a Chinese model, right? For like an open- source model. Very, very impressive stuff for sure. Now, one thing I would like to see better would be the look and feel. I don't think the look and feel is particularly good. I don't know what that's supposed to be, but that's I think it's supposed to be a a Rolls-Royce, but uh I wouldn't drive in that Rolls-Royce, personally. Um it's got it's it it's nice. It's a decent look and feel. It's a little bit thin on content. I don't think it would rank particularly well on Google, to be honest with you. So, it's definitely missing a couple of things across the board, but the technical build is one of the best technical builds I've ever seen from a Chinese model. So, that gets a big plus from me. Uh yeah, I mean very very impressive stuff. It, like I said, you can change from Italian to English very easily. It's got a contact us page. Everything is pretty much built. The look and feel is pretty terrible, though. I do have to say. I'm not a fan of the look and feel here. I won't lie to you guys. This is nice. It's a nice header section. But just for some context, guys, a normal build with uh Harbor Build, which uses Sonic 4.6 six looks something like this. So yeah, this is one of the harbor builds. This is a Sonic 4.6. And you can just see I I think it looks a lot better than uh that build. It's a lot more complete as well. And this isn't just the prompting, it's just the model as well, right? The just Sonic model or Claude models are just significantly better than these free or open-source Chinese models. Okay. So, yeah, this definitely isn't a RIP uh Opus or RIP Sonet or anything like that. But if you're on a budget, and not only that, recently Claude Code was removed from the pro plan for by anthropic. So, if you're not wanting to spend $200 or $100 a month, something like Kimmy may be the best in slot for you. Claude code gone from Prairie Plan. Now, I think this is a really bad change from Claude. Not sure why they've done that. For clarity, we're running a small test less than 2% of new proumer signups. Is this thing pro and max are not affected? I don't know how I feel about this to be honest with you. I think that's kind of weird that they've pulled that. Uh I expect them to put that back in in the future because that is not going to be a very popular change at all, but you probably were getting such little usage out of it anyway that it wasn't worth it.
